Chris Stapleton Sends Massive Donation to Texas Flood Victims

Chris Stapleton and wife Morgane are once again showing their incredible generosity, sending $1 million to bolster organizations providing relief in the wake of the tragic flooding in Texas over the Fourth of July weekend.

The singer’s charity, Outlaw State of Kind, announced the donation on Instagram, writing, “Outlaw State of Kind has donated $1 million to support national and local organizations providing flood relief in Texas. Visit the link in bio if you’d like to join us in your support.”

That million dollars will be split between at least four nonprofits who are on the ground right now in Texas, including the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, Texas Search and Rescue, World Central Kitchen, and Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation.

Chris Stapleton and Miranda Lambert just teamed up to release a new duet called “A Song to Sing,” written about Chris Stapleton’s real-life love story with his wife and touring partner Morgane.

Lambert has also been posting on social media, asking fans to help with relief efforts in Texas.

This Isn’t Chris Stapleton’s First Million Dollar Donation

This isn’t the first time Chris Stapleton and wife Morgane have written a check with that many zeroes.

Earlier this year, the couple’s Outlaw State of Kind charity donated $1 million to charities assisting in the Los Angeles wild fires.

That money was split between various organizations offering assistance to wildfire victims. Those included the American Red Cross, Direct Relief: California Fire Relief, Project Hope, Save the Children: Children’s Emergency Fund, a GoFundMe called “Wildfire Relief Fund 2025” and a long list of others.

The Stapletons’ Charity Has Made a Huge Impact

Chris and Morgane Stapleton formed their charity nearly a decade ago in 2016.

In 2022, the foundation partnered with community groups and businesses to put on a relief concert called “Kentucky Rising” to help vicitms of severe flooding in the eastern part of the state. That event ultimately raised more than $2.9 million.

Chris & Morgane Stapleton Continue on ‘All American Roadshow’ Tour

Chris Stapleton’s 2025 All-American Roadshow will keep he and wife Morgane, who performs with him, on the road through the summer and into fall.

The couple are also frequent songwriting partners. While Morgane does not have a songwriting credit on Chris Stapleton and Miranda Lambert’s new single, “A Song to Sing,” she does get credit for inspiring the lyrics.

“Chris understands this emotion from the inside out, because he and Morgane have both lived it,” Miranda Lambert said of the song in a press release. “To have someone so soulful and willing to go into the heart of the feelings, to share the pull of the road and creative life – and what that means when you love someone with every bit of your being is next level. When we finished it, we both knew we wanted to release it, to share it with everyone.”

The All-American Roadshow Tour’s schedule includes several stadium shows with the legendary George Strait.

Stapleton has already performed four shows with Strait and has one more to come at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles July 19.
