Carly Pearce is celebrating a CMA Fest success that has nothing to do with singing!
For the fourth year in a row, Carly hosted “Carly’s Closet” at the CMA Fest June 7 at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee. And you can expect to see a lot of country music fans walking around in Carly’s clothes, because visitors snapped up $25,000 worth of the singer’s clothes and accessories!
In an Instagram post, Carly Pearce wrote, “the 4th annual Carly’s Closet was a huge success! y’all… we raised over $25,000 for the @cmafoundation , making it the largest one yet! I can’t believe it. this event has become one of my favorite things I do every year, and I can’t wait to see y’all wearing these items on the road! thank you for coming out and for supporting a cause that means so much to me – raising funds for music education 🤍”
Carly Pearce’s Closet at CMA Fest Was Biggest One Yet
On CMA’s Instagram account, Carly Pearce gave fans a sneak peek at all of the clothes she pulled directly out of her closet to sell at her CMA Fest event. Fans could also buy items on-line.
In an Instagram post promoting Carly’s Closet, the singer wrote about the clothes saying they were, “some of my favorite pieces from my wardrobe throughout the last year.”
In the post, she wrote, “This is the largest amount of clothes we have ever put up for sale – I might be biased, but we have some of our best items yet! We’re even selling some of my band’s shirts!”
Carly has been offering up clothing straight out of her closet for four years now.
She says she was inspired by attending CMA Fest as a fan and seeing all the unique ways country artists would find to connect with their fans. Pearce told @countrynow that “Carly’s Closet” feels like a cross between “a yard sale and ‘Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.’”
Carly says she and her assistant go into her closet each year to pick each piece. She says they try to offer things fans have seen on tour, in music videos and at awards shows.
Carly Pearce Performed Several Times at CMA Fest Despite Vocal Strain
Carly Pearce performed three times during CMA Fest. That’s despite posting on her Instagram stories just two days before asking fans for prayers. She wrote, “I’m still dealing with this very frustrating vocal strain.”
Carly told fans, “I would appreciate all the prayers and good vibes that I get back to 100 percent!”
Carly’s performance of “My Wish” with Rascal Flatts at CMA Fest is one of 30 performances that will be featured in the CMA Fest 2025 special that will air on ABC June 26 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
The singer has been open about multiple health challenges she’s been dealing with over the past few years. About a year ago, Carly posted a video on Instagram explaining that she’d been diagnosed with pericarditis. That’s an inflammation of the tissues surrounding the heart that causes chest pain, fatigue, heart palpitations and other symptoms.
In that video, she explained that while she wanted to stay on tour, doctors advised her to “alter her shows,” saying, “So, if my shows look a little bit different, just know it’s because I have to keep my heart rate under control right now.”
Carly’s Summer Schedule Remains Packed Despite Health Challenges
Carly Pearce just wrapped up her “Hummingbird” world tour with a May 16 performance at the Grand Ole Opry. But her schedule remains busy even so.
Carly will join “Little Big Town” on their summer tour in July and August. She’ll perform at stops in Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, New Jersey and New York.
