People frequently associate the Superbowl Halftime Show with musical performances, but there’s another NFL event that also showcases artists: the annual draft. As the NFL shared on Instagram in April 2025, this year’s concert series will feature none other than country music legend Brad Paisley.
As Channel 3000 reported, the singer will help the NFL end the draft weekend with a bang by putting on a free concert Saturday, April 26. Tom Tubito, the senior director of global event presentation & entertainment, said that Paisley was an ideal choice. “His performance is our way of saying thank you to the fans, the prospects, and the city of Green Bay—and the perfect way to close out an unforgettable weekend.” Paisley will perform as part of the NFL Draft Concert Series.
Paisley Has Plenty of Experience Performing for a Sports Crowd

Performing at the NFL Draft isn’t Paisley’s first sports arena rodeo. As B104 reported in October 2024, the singer also lent his talents to the MLB for Game 1 of the World Series. He sang the National Anthem for a packed house at Dodger Stadium in California. Before this appearance, Paisley served as the National Anthem performer at three other World Series games.
In an interview with High Heat on the MLB Network, Paisley discussed his long-term love of baseball. He shared that, although he was never a good ball player himself, he felt inspired to take his two sons to baseball games. After meeting people associated with the Dodgers, his connection to baseball grew even stronger: “It’s been an amazing experience to just immerse myself in this sport.”
The Singer is a Big Cleveland Browns Fan

Of course, Paisley is playing during the NFL draft weekend because he’s also a football fan. In a 2022 appearance on the MNF Manning Cast, the singer shared that he cheers on the Cleveland Browns. “I come from a family of [Pittsburgh] Steeler fans, so they were not happy when I switched. I became a Browns fan because of Brian Sipe. I just thought he was so cool.”
As Cleveland.com reported, Paisley paid a visit to the Browns training camp in 2018 and shared a funny anecdote about how he honored the famous quarterback as a child. According to Paisley, he created a Sipe Halloween costume three times in his youth.
