When country music star Bailey Zimmerman took the stage at Crash My Playa Festival, fans had high expectations. Unfortunately, the singer’s performance left a lot to be desired due to him using alcohol before going on stage. Now, Zimmerman has shared that he’s turned over a new leaf. In late June, the singer shared an Instagram reel with a major update. “I quit drinkin’ all the time,” the on-screen text reads. “And that has truly changed my whole life.”
Fans were thrilled for their favorite performing, showing their support for his decision in the comments. “Happiness looks good on you,” one fan wrote. Others shared small details about their own sobriety journeys and offered heartfelt congratulations. “No judgment towards anybody but I wouldn’t change it for anything,” Zimmerman captioned the post. “My life has been so much better.”
Zimmerman Kept a Promise to His Fans

After his disappointing performance in Mexico, Zimmerman took to Instagram to own up to his behavior. “I sang awful, I played awful,” he said in the video. “And nobody got the show that they paid for. And I’m disappointed in myself.” He also shared that his drunken on stage antics reflected poorly on his relationship with God.
Zimmerman then made a powerful promise: “I’m gonna do everything in my power to make sure that this never happens, ever again.” He also profusely thanked his fans for continuing to support him. Fans and fellow musicians alike applauded his apology and shared encouraging messages in the video’s comments.
The Singer’s Next Album Drops in August

While Zimmerman has been prioritizing sobriety, he’s also been hard at work on new music. His latest album, “Different Night Same Rodeo,” drops on August 8th and features the single “Comin’ in Cold.” His official website features the music video for the song, which includes an extended dramatic scene at the beginning.
Additionally, he’s hitting the road this summer for his “New to Country” tour and multiple stops at music festivals. Fans can catch Zimmerman across the U.S. and in some Canadian cities. His final stop on the tour is scheduled for September 13th as of now, but he’ll also appear at the Field & Stream Festival in October.
