Movies aren’t the only big time horror projects coming in June. There’s also a few noteworthy horror and supernatural shows heading our way too.
Summer is the perfect time to sit down to watch a new favorite show. The wait from week to week could become so intense that you sing the show’s praises to the world. Or you could just watch it all in one day.
Here are the shows that might be worth a watch this June.
Revival (June 12, Syfy)
Coming from Luke Boyce and Aaron B. Koontz, this Syfy series will follow a rural Wisconsin town that has to deal with the dead coming back to life. Melanie Scrofano plays Dana, an officer who must find out what’s going on while also finding a murder suspect. The trailer depicts the show as cheeky, demonic and pretty fun for a cable based series.
Hell Motel (June 17, Shudder/AMC+)
This eight episode anthology series has virtually no information available outside of its press release except for the trailer. That could be the best news for it as viewers will be surprised around every single corner. “Slasher” creators Aaron Martin and Ian Carpenter made the show. “Will & Grace” star Eric McCormack leads ten true crime fanatics who are “invited to the opening weekend of the newly renovated Cold River Motel, the site of a 30-year-old unsolved Satanic Mass Murder. History repeats itself when the guests get stranded and start getting knocked off one by one during a murder spree that grows exponentially more gruesome than the original with each kill.”
Squid Game (June 27, Netflix)
After four years away, “Squid Game” returned with two seasons that were seemingly released back to back. Thank goodness the tension created in the first season was kept high. This third and final season will see Lee Jung-jae’s Seong Gi-hun finally take down the organization that is putting on the deadly titualar squid games no matter the cost.
