Tony Awards 2025 Betting Odds for Best Actor, Actress, Play & Musical

The 78th Tony Awards will begin on Sunday, June 8 at 8 p.m. ET, celebrating live theatrical performances on Broadway.

There are a ton of incredible shows up for the biggest awards, and anything can happen. However, FanDuel released the 2025 Tony Awards betting odds for some of the top categories.

So, let’s see what they have to say.


Best Musical

Five of the year’s best shows have the chance to claim the title of Best Musical.

“Maybe Happy Ending,” starring Darren Criss and Helen J. Shen, follows robots Oliver and Claire as they embark on adventures, displaying love and connection. “Death Becomes Her” is a comedy that follows two women who drink a magic potion that gives them eternal youth. However, it comes with consequences. “Dead Outlaw” is based on the true story of train robber Elmer McCurdy. “Buena Vista Social Club” is also based on true events, transporting the audience to Cuba through music. And lastly, “Operations Mincemeat” is a funny take on an operation from World War II that was used to trick German intelligence.

According to FanDuel, “Maybe Happy Ending” has the best odds to win the Tony Award for Best Musical at -600. “Death Becomes Her” follows behind at +340, along with “Dead Outlaw” at +2200 and “Buena Vista Social Club” at +3700. “Operations Mincemeat” has the lowest odds to win at +4000.


Best Play

Five of the year’s best shows also have the chance to claim the title of Best Play.

“Oh, Mary!” is a dark comedy centered around Mary Todd Lincoln before her husband, President Abraham Lincoln’s, assassination. “John Proctor is the Villain” is also a comedy that follows students who begin questioning The Crucible and how John Proctor is painted as the show’s hero. “Purpose” gives a behind-the-scenes look at the influential Jasper family. “The Hills of California” shows the Webb sisters who go to their childhood home in the English seaside to say goodbye to their mother who is ill, but uncover truths through it all. And lastly, “English” is a comedy that takes place in an Iranian classroom where adults practice for their English proficiency exam.

According to FanDuel, “Oh, Mary!” has the best odds to win the Tony Award for Best Musical at -430. “John Proctor is the Villain” follows behind at +750, along with “Purpose” at +900 and “The Hills of California” at +2200. “English” has the lowest odds to win at +3100.
