The 2025 Tony Awards are here!
Cynthia Erivo will host the awards show, with some incredible performances expected, including those from the original cast of Hamilton to celebrate the show’s 10th anniversary.
Plus, Ben Stiller, Charli D’Amelio, Kristin Chenoweth, Lea Michele, Oprah Winfrey, Samuel L. Jackson, and Tom Felton will be taking the stage as presenters.
“Buena Vista Social Club,” “Death Becomes Her,” and “Maybe Happy Ending” all earned 10 nominations.

Cynthia Erivo begins her Tony’s opening number in the dressing room as she’s quickly summoned to the stage. She passes numerous stagehands, who all tell her exactly what she needs for her opening number. One even holds up a black hat and a broom, to which she responds, “I think that’s Daniel Radcliffe’s.” Oprah then makes an appearance, telling her to just “be herself,” and that’s when the curtains go up and she takes the stage.
Erivo made her way into the crowd, passing the microphone to the celebrities in the crowd and having them join in and sing, “Sometimes all you need is a song.”
Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter, who will be on Broadway starting in September, take the stage first to present the Tony Award for Lead Actress in a Play.

Michelle Williams announced a performance from the hit show “Death Becomes Her.”
Danielle Brooks and Katy Holmes present the award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Play.
Winner: Francis Jue (Yellow Face)
Julianne Hough announced a performance by the company of “Buena Vista Social Club.”
Adam Lambert and Charli D’Amelio present the award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical.
Winner: Jak Malone (Operation Mincemeat)
Cynthia Erivo announces a performance by Jonathan Groff from the new musical “Just In Time,” where he plays singer Bobby Darin.
