“Vanderpump Rules” alum Ally Lewber says she hopes to see some familiar SUR employees on the upcoming reboot of the Bravo reality show.
In November 2024, Bravo announced that the long-running show would be recast with a group of “close-knit SURvers” employed at Lisa Vanderpump’s West Hollywood restaurant, SUR Restaurant & Lounge.
Speaking with The New York Post in December, Lewber revealed there are two SUR employees she hopes to see on the reboot. “There’s two girls, Demi and Hannah,” she told the outlet. “I love them, and I’m not sure if they’re part of that, but I suspect they are in some way. I hope that they’re part of it, if that’s what they want.”
The official SUR Instagram page follows a SUR employee named Demyana Selem, and an actress and SURver named Hannah Rose Lowe.
A Group Photo May Provide Clues to the New ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Cast
In June, a SUR staff photo was posted to Instagram. Several employees were tagged, including Demyana Selem. Hannah Rose Lowe was tagged in a November staff photo. In addition, Bravo TV and Evolution Media were tagged in both posts. The tags sparked chatter that some of the staff pictured could be future “Vanderpump Rules” cast members.
“Ohh this is looking very VPR 2.0,” one commenter wrote.
“The new vanderpump cast ladies and gentlemen,” another wrote.
TMZ reported in September that a pilot was filmed with a potential new cast for “Vanderpump Rules.” Several fan account shared Instagram posts that showed a full film crew on site at SUR. Film crews were spotted with mics and cameras in different areas of the restaurant and bar area.
SUR manager and VPR OG Peter Madrigal seemingly addressed the pilot in a November 2024 interview on the “Vanderpump Robs” podcast. “Oh yeah they all work at SUR,” he teased of the newcomers. “It’s a dynamic new cast that’s vibrant, but there’s a lot of similarities, let’s put it that way. There’s a lot of drama.”
Lisa Vanderpump Revealed What She’s Looking For in the New Cast
Lisa Vanderpump also talked about the new cast in an interview with Access Hollywood’s “Housewives Nightcap.”
While she refused to spill too much tea on the newbies, the “Vanderpump Rules” matriarch said she’s looking for “authenticity” with the new cast. “I think that’s the first thing you look for, that people that can really can just be themselves,” she explained. “Because nothing’s kind of as interesting as really you know when people are just honest with their lives.”
She added, “I’m looking for great connections which always happens, whether it’s positive or negative. when you’re in the restaurant business. It’s a nucleus and it holds everybody together.”
