‘The Valley’ Star Recalls Days Working for Cameron Diaz

The Valley” star Janet Caperna dished on how she used to be an assistant for a Cameron Diaz’s wine company.

Caperna made the revelation Thursday while speaking with Page Six’s co-hosts Danny Murphy and Evan Real on “Virtual Reali-Tea.”

“I worked for Avaline, which is Cameron Diaz and Katherine Power’s wine brand,” she told the hosts.

She gushed on how she “loved” the job at the time.

Thought Caperna may no longer be an assistant anymore, she told Page Six she still loves the wine to this day.

Avaline was founded in 2020 and is made with organic grapes from Italy, France and Spain, according to Forbes.

Fellow ‘Valley’ Star Zack Wickham Was Also an Assistant at the Same Time as Caperna

“The Valley” star Zack Wickham ended up being an assistant to singer Nicole Scherzinger at the same time Caperna was working.

The former member of the Pussycat Dolls spoke about Wickham with host Andy Cohen in a May 13 interview.

“He was actually my sister’s best friend growing up in Kentucky, and so I kind of got stuck with Zack. I’m just kidding,” she joked. “And, so when he moved to LA he needed a job, and he was my assistant for many years and also like a little brother.”

The singer also revealed Wickham always had aspirations to be in reality TV and mentioned it was all he would want to talk about.

Caperna told Page Six the assistants in Los Angeles are a very small group, where everyone knows everyone.

Caperna Clears the Air About Being A ‘Vanderpump’ Superfan

The 39-year-old addressed the rumors she was a superfan of Bravo’sVanderpump Rules.” She told Page Six she wishes she could just take a lie detector test and answer all the questions surrounding it.

She explained she ended up becoming friends with “Vanderpump” cast member Scheana Shay at a pool party years ago.

“The Valley” star recalled how the two met. She said she told Shay at the time, “I love you on the show,” and the two began discussing life.

Both were in their 20s and going through divorces. Caperna said she asked Shay for advice and the two bonded over their shared experiences.

Caperna said she has no problem saying she was a fan of Bravo before she became friends with Shay.

“I have been a long-term Bravo fan for a long time. I don’t think that’s embarrassing,” she added. “My favorite people to talk to are Bravo fans.”
