‘The Valley’ Star Makes Surprising Reveal About Season 2 Boys’ Chat Scene

Danny Booko made a surprising admission about “The Valley.”

During a May 2025 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” the actor and Bravo TV personality said he didn’t realize cameras were rolling when he repeated a rumor about Michelle Saniei to co-star Luke Broderick. The secret would later get Booko booted from a “boys’ chat” texting thread, but Booko claimed it was all a mix-up due to his “dad” brain.

Danny Booko Thought Filming Was Done When He Repeated the Rumor

On WWHL, a fan asked Booko why he told Broderick about a rumor that  Jesse Lally started about his ex in the boys’ chat, and if he was surprised it got back to her, considering he was “mic’d on a reality show.”

Booko replied, “It was a complete ‘dad’ moment, sleep deprivation.”

“Hand to God, I thought we were done filming that scene,” Booko explained to host Andy Cohen.  ”Duh, I’ve been in the entertainment industry for 20 years. I know I’m still mic’d. I just completely forgot. And there was a camera behind me, as you can see in the shot, and I’m whispering it to him. So honestly, I did not think it was gonna go anywhere. And that became everything.”

He then apologized to Lally, who was sitting beside him.

In another WWHL segment, “Defend Your Bro,” Booko joked that he couldn’t defend Broderick for later spilling the secret to his now-fiancée Kristen Doute.

In the “The Valley” season 2 episode titled “The Billionaire and the Boys’ Chat,” it was revealed that the men on the show had a secret text chain that was started by Jax Taylor. It was also noted that what was said in the boys’ chat was to stay in the boys’ chat.

During the episode, Booko spilled a rumor about Saniei to Broderick, who was not part of the all-male text thread. The false rumor, that Saniei was an escort to a billionaire, quickly spread.

Lally later explained that he and Taylor suspected that there was a “mole” in the boys’ group, so he made up the story to see who would leak it. Booko denied that he was the mole but admitted in a confessional that he engaged in “some mole-like activity.”

On “The Valley After Show,”  Booko later revealed he was removed from the boys’ chat group due to his mole-like move.
