Zack Wickham confirmed he was not invited to Scheana Shay’s 40th birthday party.
“The Valley” star spoke out on the May 6 edition of “Watch What Happens Live,” where he confirmed the diss to host Andy Cohen
After Cohen wished a happy 40th birthday to Shay, he said, “We love you, Scheana Shay. Scheana Shay, you know, I’m your fan,” the Bravo host added.
He then turned to “Watch What Happens Live” guests Zack Wickham and Michelle Lally and said, “You’re flying back to L.A. tomorrow to go the party, both of you?”
“No, not both of us, “Wickham quickly chimed in.
After Wickham confirmed he was not invited to the bash, Cohen asked him, ‘Are you not good with Scheana Shay?”
“No, I mean we are, he said. “We have our ups and downs, and right now we’re just like in a [valley].”
Fans reacted to the exchange on social media.
“I guess Scheana and Zack aren’t good as gold….” one commenter wrote
Shay replied with, “That made me laugh lol.”
Shay turned 40 years old on May 7.
Zack Wickham & Scheana Shay Have Been Beefing
Wickham and Shay’s troubles seemingly started earlier this year. After Shay, Ariana Madix, and Katie Maloney all unfollowed their former “Vanderpump Rules” co-star James Kennedy on Instagram due to a photo of him posing with controversial influencers, the Tate Brothers, Wickham called them out for not unfollowing him after he was accused of assaulting his now-ex Ally Lewber. (Kennedy was never charged and Lewber has said there was no domestic violence.)
“I find it [expletive] that the final straw for you all to unfollow him was when he posted a picture with problematic horrible people, not when he was a problematic horrible person to your friend (and the answer is yes to everyone you think this is about),” Wickham wrote on X in March.
Shay, who appears as a “friend” on “The Valley,” later accused Wickham of saying some disturbing things off-camera.
“You know, he has a colorful way of speaking when he’s drunk,” Shay said on the April 18 episode of her Scheananigans podcast. “He had made comments that were not caught on camera. Because of what he said [off camera], it caused his best friend Brittany [Cartwright] to distance herself from him for many, many months.”
Shay noted that at one point, Wickham tried to apologize to her for things he said. “[I told him,] ‘It’s not the time or place,’” she shared.
‘Everyone’ Was Invited to Scheana Shay’s Birthday Party Last Year
Wickham wasn’t invited to Shay’s 40th, and it’s unclear if he made the guest list when she turned 39 in 2024. Shay’s 39th birthday took place on the same day that the “Vanderpump Rules” season 11 finale aired on Bravo.
At that time, “The Valley” star Janet Caperna appeared on the “Gabbing With Gib” podcast and stated that “everyone was invited” to Shay’s birthday party, despite her friendship problems with some of the cast members from her Bravo reality show.
“We had a beautiful time,” Caperna said. “Scheana was awesome to celebrate. … I know she’s going through it a little bit, and there’s obviously a lot of changes in friendships and stuff, but that night was just to celebrate her. I know everyone was invited and I think, you know, everybody tried to make it.”
