Teddi Mellencamp Confirms That There Is a New Man in Her Life

Rumors have swirled over the last few days that Bravolebrity Teddi Mellencamp, may have a new love after she was spotted with a handsome gentleman. The former Real Housewives of Orange County star wasted no time in addressing it. “I’m dating somebody,” said Teddi during the June 3, 2025, episode of her “Two Ts In a Pod” podcast, cohosted by Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge.

Mellencamp has suffered from melanoma on and off since 2022, and her cancer battle has been the focus of her life since the start of 2025, so word of a new romance is a bit of a surprise.

Mellencamp brought up the topic on her podcast with Tamra Judge because of photos that were recently taken of her and a mystery man. The photos were published by Page Six earlier on Tuesday, and rather than deal with rumors and speculation, Teddi decided to get ahead of things and confirm the romance.

“He’s very kind to me, he’s taking good care of me. He’s nice … he’s not married, he doesn’t have any kids. But he’s also a private person.”

Teddi Mellencamp Has Been Battling Stage 4 Melanoma Since February

In February of 2025, Teddi Mellencamp revealed that she has stage 4 melanoma after it metastasized to her lungs and brain, according to Us Weekly.

Mellencamp shared on Instagram at the time that she was hospitalized after suffering “severe and debilitating headaches,” saying, “Doctors found multiple tumors on my brain, which they believe have been growing for at least 6 months.”

Mellencamp told her followers that two of her tumors would be “surgically removed today” and that the “remaining smaller tumors will be dealt with via radiation at a later date.” The last few months have been an emotional rollercoaster ride for the reality star, and it’s great to see that she has found some extra love to get her through it.

According to People, she was first diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma in October 2022, and at that time, she underwent more than a dozen surgeries until receiving a temporary clean bill of health in January 2024.

In November 2024, Teddi filed for divorce from Edwin Arroyave, with whom she shares three children: daughter Slate, 12, son Cruz, 10, and daughter Dove, 5. While the couple is moving forward with their divorce, Arroyave has continued to publicly and privately support her through her difficult cancer journey.
