“Summer House” season 9 newcomer Lexi Wood is adding “entrepreneur” to her list of credentials.
In a sneak peek of the next “Summer House After Show” shared by Bravo, Wood said, “My daily style is probably more a mix of masculine and feminine. Like, I live in boyfriend jeans but like to mix it with a corset.” She added, “I’m coming out with a lingerie collection so it makes sense for my brand.”
Wood works as a model and hails from Toronto, Canada, per her Bravo profile. She’s close with her family, who helps manage her career, and her sister and mother has made appearances on season 9 of “Summer House.”
During episode 3, Wood revealed, “Growing up, I think a lot of people thought that because I was a model, that I thought that I was better than them.”
“So kids weren’t always nicest to me and I think that’s why I’m super close with my family because they allow me to by myself,” she added.
Wood Has Been Modeling Since She Was a Kid
In an interview with The Fem Word published on April 2020, Wood said, “I originally started when I was 10 to try to help me get out of my shell.”
“After I grew out of shooting kids clothing I took a bit of a break before being re-scouted at 15 by a mother agent who then signed me to Ford Canada, which was my first big modeling agency LA is home for now!” she continued.
Wood shared, “From there I got signed to an agency in New York where I was scouted to move to Paris to work. It was one of those moments where it was like a right place right time kind of thing.”
The “Summer House” star is not just a model but an influencer as well and has deals with Alo Yoga, Celcius, and Primark.
Wood Lives For Fashion
Fashion is part of Wood’s everyday life and the one decade she loves is the Y2K era. “I’d love to be in my 20s in the 2000s. I love the mini skirts, the accessories, the glam! Ugh, it was such a fun time for fashion. A lot of those styles are coming back now through the pop music girls, and I’m loving it,” she told Modeliste in February.
As for her favorite styles, she said, “I’m a huge low-rise pants fan. The lower, the better.” Wood added that her go-to outfit is, “A micro-mini skirt, a lace corset, an oversized men’s jacket, and a little strappy heel. I love the contrast between masculine and feminine styles working together to create the perfect outfit.”
