‘Summer House’ Star Claims Newcomer Had a ‘Good Edit’ For Season 9

Jesse Solomon claims that ”Summer House” newcomer Imrul Hassan is getting a “good edit” on the Bravo reality show.

In an April 2025 interview on the “Chicks in the Office” podcast, Solomon was asked about his co-star’s behavior at the shared Hamptons house.

Hassan, who joined “Summer House” for season 9, was seen multiple times bringing girls back to his room during filming, yet wasn’t shown bonding or even interacting with the rest of the cast very much. Several of the “Summer House” women were visibly annoyed by Hassan constantly bringing strangers back to the house.

When asked if Hassan was getting an “accurate edit,” Solomon responded, “He’s getting a good edit.”

Solomon agreed that Hassan bringing girls home all summer long and not forming relationships with the rest of the housemates was pretty accurate as to what went down. “He was friendlier with Carl [Radke] and Kyle [Cooke], and, a little bit, West [Wilson]. He and Wes had some conversations, but conversations with him were always very serious,” Solomon recalled, adding, “He wasn’t like an easygoing guy. But he’s a good person.”

Solomon, who was admittedly temporarily pulled into one of Hassan’s threesomes via a scandalous toe-sucking incident, also admitted that some of the cast members were “shocked” by their new housemate’s steady stream of hookups.

“There’s that one scene where West and I are like, ‘She’s here?!’ at the same time. Like, ‘There’s girls here?!’” Solomon said on the podcast. “It was just kind of like, I couldn’t believe that he would wanna do that on camera [and] that the girls would wanna do that.”

Solomon acknowledged that Hassan’s “dates” were never shown on camera. Instead, the “Summer House” cast member was often shown creeping into the house and putting a towel over the camera in his room after returning from a club.

“I think [they] don’t wanna be on the show,” Solomon said of Hassan’s women.

In April 2025, Hassan appeared on “Watch What Happens Live” and addressed his sexual activity. He clarified to host Andy Cohen that he didn’t have “orgies” every weekend. “The most misunderstood thing is everyone’s having sex in there,” he added of his busy bedroom. “People are just there to watch, for the most part.”

He also admitted he was not with any one girl more than one time last summer.

Hassan explained that he has been in two long-term relationships in the past that were completely monogamous and is always looking for that special someone.
