A follow-up video of the pair dancing together at Coachella only added to the speculation. But despite the social media buzz—and a flirtation that earned Solomon the nickname “Messy Jesse”—Miller says fans have it all wrong.
“It’s a misconception among the audience,” she explained in a May 7 interview with The New York Post. She made it clear that her relationship with Solomon, 31, is strictly platonic, even if their on-screen chemistry has raised eyebrows.
Still, their dynamic has created tension in the house. After making things official with newbie Lexi Wood, Solomon faced backlash from castmates for getting too flirty with Miller while his new girlfriend was away for the weekend. The incident led to a dramatic breakfast breakup, though the two were back together by the next episode.
When asked about the public response to the situation, Miller admitted she was “totally not” surprised by the headlines or fan chatter.
Ciara Seems Indifferent If Lexi Wood Returns for Season 10
Though the situation between Solomon, Wood, and Miller has played out on screen, it’s also spilled over into interviews and social media. Wood recently alleged that Miller and Solomon skipped her birthday to hang out together—something Miller firmly denied during her appearance on “Watch What Happens Live.”
“The rumor that, like, we skipped somebody’s birthday party — specifically Lexi’s birthday party — to, like, hang out … that didn’t happen,” she told Andy Cohen.
Wood later said on “The Viall Files” that Miller had asked her not to “speak good or bad” about her or Solomon publicly. “I just want to respect what she wants,” Wood said.

When asked about Wood’s potential return next season, Miller kept it real—but didn’t close the door entirely.
“If [Lexi]’s here next year, great, but if she’s not, see ya, I’ll never have to see her again,” she told the Post.“I’m used to people coming in and out and not staying. I just don’t care, honestly.”
Despite the drama, Miller is optimistic about her own future on “Summer House.” “I’m the youngest of the show,” she noted. “So I don’t know. I feel like we still have more things to tell. I’m down for whatever it looks like.”
She also shared that this year’s reunion taping was lighter than past seasons. “Despite all the other stuff, there was a ton of giggles at this reunion,” Miller said. “I like doing the reunion because you can kind of leave it all out on the table, and then we can just kind of not see each other until this next season starts.”
With a laugh, she added, “I’m like, ‘Okay guys, I don’t want to see you until we have to film again. Love you! Mean it.’”
