Stephanie Shojaee has fans talking — and not in the way she probably hoped. After posting a string of cryptic Instagram Stories right after the “Real Housewives of Miami” season 7 reunion, viewers are now questioning if the 40-year-old real estate mogul is gearing up to leave the show before season 8 even begins.

The speculation comes amid Stephanie’s ongoing feud with Alexia Nepola, 58, which has fueled plenty of drama this season. But according to fans online, her latest social media activity may hint at more than just shade.
On Reddit, fans began dissecting Stephanie’s posts after screenshots made the rounds. In one clip, filmed on a boat with her hair blowing in the wind, Stephanie wrote: “‘Join Miami Housewives’ they said… ‘you’ll be fine’… they said.”
In another photo, originally shared by her company, Shoma Group, she captioned, “Shoma is where I belong.”
“Did Steph quit???” one fan asked. Others quickly jumped in, with some convinced that the messages meant Stephanie was walking away, while others suspected the posts were just part of a Bravo-worthy stunt.
“I doubt she would quit – she wants the business promotion and the deals she can get from the show,” one viewer reasoned. Another added, “I could see her ‘quit’ before not getting asked back. If the reunion went bad she may be trying to save face.”
“Noooo I love to hate her she makes me laugh and drives Alexia insane,” joked another fan.
The RHOM Newbie Calls the Bravo Experience ‘a Rollercoaster’
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight last month, Stephanie admitted that her first season wasn’t all glitz and glamour. “I think it’s been one of the hardest things I’ve ever done in my life. No joke,” she said, calling the experience “a rollercoaster” despite also being “so much fun.”
Weeks later, when asked directly on Instagram if she would appear in season 8, Stephanie dodged the question. “Let’s concentrate on season [seven], and making sure it’s the best season and most watched!” she wrote.
Stephanie joined the cast during season 7, but her connections to the group run deep. She previously dated Anthony Lopez, the longtime partner of RHOM alum Nicole Martin, nearly 20 years ago. While the history raised eyebrows, Stephanie insisted to Entertainment Weekly that it was no big deal. “It didn’t last longer than like, a year or so, it’s really not that big of a deal,” she explained.
