“Southern Charm” and “Southern Hospitality” star Leva Bonaparte explained why she decided to cut her previously long hair into a bob.
During a February 2025 interview with Us Weekly, Bonaparte described her new haircut as “a rage cut.”
“They’re always like what are you mad about? I don’t know. I’m just fed up. Just chop it up. Start fresh. And I usually do this thing where I take a kitchen shear [to cut it],” said Bonaparte.
Bonaparte also said her hairstylist cut her hair after she filmed her final confessional interview for “Southern Hospitality” season 3. She also said she was unsure about her new look after she got her hair cut.
“Afterwards I was like, I don’t know. I don’t feel very girly. But whatever,” said Bonaparte during the interview.

I do, did love my long hair but well something was burning inside to chop it! So surprise we BOB-ing now with the new look! As i told my son! It’s just hair! 🙏❤️😂😜,” read a portion of the post’s caption.
Bonaparte’s “Southern Charm” castmate and friend Venita Aspen complimented her in the comments section.
“Bobianaaaaaaaaaaaa 😍😍😍,” wrote Aspen.

“It’s a lot of things. My girlfriend who is here, she see the breakdown days, where I don’t text anyone back for three days. It’s a lot,” said Bonaparte during the interview.
