‘Next Gen NYC’ Star Riley Burruss Shares Her Reaction to Ariana Biermann’s Money Confession

Ariana Biermann made a shocking confession during the premiere of “Next Gen NYC” on June 3. In the episode, she revealed that her mom Kim Zolciak, and her step-father Kroy Biermann spent all the money in her bank account.

She shared how her income came from doing paid promotional posts on social media, and that she had saved up “quite a bit of money.”

“But, unfortunately, my parents took my money,” she said on the reality show.

Following the admission, Ariana’s “Next Gen NYC” castmate Riley Burruss told Page Six on June 4, “It was a shock to me as well. I feel for her.”

“I feel like that’s a terrible situation to have to go through as a child but I think, you know, she’s doing great in the city. She’s always wanted to live here, so I’m glad she’s been able to shift it,” Burruss continued.

On offering advice to Ariana, Burruss added, “I’m a very nosy person, so whenever we talk I’m always asking her a million questions. But it was a big shock to me. I really just try to be there for her as a friend.”

Burruss Tried to Keep the Peace Between the Cast Members

The trailer for “Next Gen NYC” shows plenty of drama, but Burruss told Page Six that she tries to stay neutral, especially between Ariana and Ava Dash.

“I do view them both as friends. Obviously, I’m closer to Ariana. But I really try to stay out of that tension because I don’t want any issues either,” she said.

Buruss shared that it was difficult being the peace-maker and stated, “You want to be friends with everyone, but you don’t want to take sides,” but sometimes you have to.”

Burruss Had Close Friendships With Some of the Cast Before ‘Next Gen NYC’

Burruss had a head start with a few of the castmates before filming “Next Gen NYC.” She told Decider on June 4, “I was already close to Brooks [Marks] before so it was easy to continue that relationship. I hadn’t seen Ariana in over 10 years, so that was a relationship that really evolved the most.”

She also got to know Dash better and said, [Both] of our parents knew each other because they both kind of came up in the music industry around the same time. So, yeah, we definitely bonded over that.”

As for Georgia McCann, who got rebuffed after revealing she doesn’t wash her hands, Burruss admitted, “I think with all of the friendships on the show, I think there are ups and downs and different things that happen. I definitely think we have good moments and we have not so good moments, but yeah, it’ll definitely play out.”
