Erin Lichy had a lunch date with Lindsay Hubbard, and some fans wondered if there was more to it than just a “girls day.”
In March 2025, “The Real Housewives of New York City” star and her daughter, Layla, met up with the ”Summer House” veteran and her newborn baby girl, Gemma, for some girl time in New York. The meetup took place two months after producers issued a casting call for RHONY season 16.
Hubbard has been a main cast member on “Summer House” for 9 seasons, while Lichy is eyeing her third season as a star on RHONY.
Fans Reacted to the Photos of Erin Lichy & Lindsay Hubbard
On March 15, Lichy posted to her Instagram stories to share photos from the day. In the first photo, the two Bravo stars and Layla Lichy posed next to Gemma’s baby carriage while at a restaurant. The second pic showed Layla sitting in a restaurant booth while feeding baby Gemma a bottle. “Gemma is edible,” Lichy captioned the snaps.
Lichy, who is pregnant with her fourth child, also posted the disclaimer, “Guys I did not have the baby. Layla was feeding friends 3 month old who I met for the first time!!! I’m still massively pregnant.”
Fans reacted to a reshare of the photos on Instagram. Some wondered if the meetup was a “campaign” to add Hubbard to the RHONY cast next season.

She’s actually funny and entertaining,” another fan agreed.
“I stopped watching Summer House for years bc of how mean Lindsay was to Cristina [Gibson] at the beginning, but I would love to see her whip rhony into shape. Brynn [Whitfield] would last like two days,” another chimed in.
Others questioned how Hubbard could join RHONY, given that her boyfriend Turner Kufe is so private. He did not film with her at all on “Summer House” when she was carrying their child last summer.
“How would that even work if her boyfriend wants nothing to do with being on tv?! Feel like on Real Housewives you have to share your LIFE! He’s clearly a huge part,” one viewer noted.
Lindsay Hubbard Has Expressed an Interest in Joining RHONY
BravoHubbard has admitted that her new life as a mom won’t be conducive to living at the shared Hamptons party house where “Summer House“ films.
During a February 2025 interview on Access Hollywood’s “Housewives Nightcap,” she told hosts Lauren Herbert and Emily Orozco that a lot of people have suggested that RHONY would be a better fit for her than “Summer House.” “But I think it’s not up to me,“ she explained. “It’s up to the powers that be and I think they need to figure it out.”
“I’m here for it all,” Hubbard added. “I am here for any and all TV shows because clearly my life just moves at the speed of light, and you need a camera on me because [expletive] just happens, and it makes for good TV.”
And Lichy seems to be all for adding her Bravo pal to the cast. Speaking with Us Weekly in a March 2025 interview, Lichy admitted RHONY could use some “new blood” two seasons into its reboot.
She also weighed in on the rumors that Hubbard could join the Housewives now that she’s a first-time mom. “I’m actually having lunch with her and our daughters in a little while so I’m gonna talk to her about that,” Lichy said of their future meetup. “I need to hear what she really thinks. But, I mean, why not? … [She would] be great, to be honest.”
