“Summer House” season 9 has come to an end, and that means one thing: it’s reunion time. The cast recently sat down with Andy Cohen to relive the drama that took place during their time in the Hamptons. But what really caught the eye of “Real Housewives of Dubai” star Chanel Ayan was the reunion fashion—and one cast member’s new haircut.
The ‘Summer House’ Season 9 Cast Matched in Pastels
On April 24, the Hamptons roommates came together to tape the reunion for “Summer House” season 9. Veteran cast members Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, Paige DeSorbo, Carl Radke, Lindsay Hubbard, Ciara Miller, Gabby Prescod, Jesse Solomon, and West Wilson were all there. Along with newcomers Imrul Hassan and Lexi Wood.
As is customary in the “Summer House” world, each one of these Bravolebrities brought their fashion A-game to the reunion. Each cast member showed off their best look in a variety of “timeless” pastels.
The Fashionista of ‘RHOD’ Gives Her Take
Images of the “Summer House” reunion fashion quickly made their way to social media, and excited fans immediately shared their takes on the best and worst-dressed. One of those fans was “Real Housewives of Dubai” star Chanel Ayan, who gave a hilarious take on what she saw.
“Summer House has the prettiest cast members from reunion looks,” the fashion model wrote on Threads. “I have never watched there show coz it doesn’t air in dubai and you know Ciara is my girl and Paige love her so I can’t wait to watch in the summer. The mullet guy had a stand next to me at bravoccon.”
The “mullet guy” she was referring to was, of course, Kyle Cooke. His signature hairstyle has been a defining feature of his appearance on “Summer House.” But, when he showed up to the season 9 reunion, the mullet was gone. Cooke debuted a new hairstyle.
Ayan’s post prompted fans to “start a petition to refer to Kyle Cooke as The Mullet Guy henceforth!”
Kyle Cooke Was One of the Best-Dressed at the ‘Summer House’ Season 9 Reunion
Cooke arrived at the reunion wearing a suit and shirt from Paisley & Gray and shoes from M.GEMI, along with his new haircut.
“I went with a little splatter of flair and a baby-blue suit,” Cooke told “The Daily Dish” backstage.
In a reunion fashion ranking on Betches, Cooke was named the second-best-dressed guy in teh cast, just behind Carl Radke. The review called Cooke’s blue suit “stunning,” and noted that his haircut made him look the best he has looked in quite a while.
“Kyle looks lighter and brighter than he has in years. See what chopping off a mullet will do for ya!,” the reviewer wrote.
