The rumors first picked up steam after Bravo gossip site Bravo and Cocktails published an anonymous tip suggesting that a West Coast housewife—who recently shaded a former castmate—was handed a reduced role. Though the tip didn’t name names, fans quickly pointed the finger at Jayne.

“This West Coast housewife who recently wished her former co-star was ‘a bit more interesting’ found herself receiving a friend-of contract for the new season,” the insider wrote in a message titled “Interesting (Pun-Intended).”

The timing of the leak was especially telling, as it came shortly after Jayne appeared on “Watch What Happens Live” with Bozoma “Boz” Saint John and made dismissive comments about Garcelle Beauvais’s exit from the show. She also stirred up drama during the “RHOBH” season 14 reunion, telling Beauvais, “I wish you were more interesting,” prompting her to respond, “Well, that’s a (expletive) thing to say, Erika.”

Jayne, who joined the franchise back in 2015 for season 6, has held a full-time diamond for nearly a decade. However, some critical fans claim her storyline in season 14 lacked substance, focusing more on home renovations than personal revelations. “I’ve had enough HGTV on Bravo,” one fan commented on the Bravo and Cocktails post, while another added, “Maybe she should have shown more.”
