Paige DeSorbo’s Breakup Timeline Reveals Craig Conover Is Back to His Old Ways

Paige DeSorbo has finally clarified when she and Craig Conover ended their three-year relationship, exposing his misleading statements during his “Southern Charm” press tour.

Craig Conover Talked About His Future With Paige DeSorbo After They Had Already Broken Up

As her split with Conover seemingly becomes more and more contentious, DeSorbo is giving fans clarity as to exactly when things went south between the Bravo stars. And in a season where the “Southern Charm” star is being accused of bending the truth yet again—”I’m a lawyer and a storyteller,” he said in the trailer—his actions following his split make it certainly seem like he was not ready to tell the truth.

On the latest episode of “Giggly Squad,” DeSorbo confirmed they broke up at Thanksgiving. Yet in December, Conover hit the press circuit for season 10 without mentioning the breakup. Instead, he spoke about their future together.

“We know we’re going to get married one day, and when it happens, it’ll be a lot of fun,” he told People on December 5. He even explained his decision to cut back on drinking to become “more of a husband and father material.”

“We’re playing the long game,” he added. “It would be easy to go for instant gratification, but the foundation that we’re building is so that we die together one day, not just make it fun.”

Paige DeSorbo Reveals When Things Started to Unravel With Craig Conover

DeSorbo said Conover wanted to keep the breakup quiet after they split in November. He never responded when she texted him in December about moving on and announcing their split.

On December 30, she took control and broke the news on “Giggly Squad.”

After she appeared at a Philadelphia Eagles game with Joe D’Amelio in early January, fans accused her of moving on too quickly. She asked Conover to defend her and shut down cheating rumors, but he refused to discuss their relationship online.

Instead, he fueled the fire. Rather than setting the record straight, Conover indeed spoke about their relationship online by posting an Instagram story claiming he was “blindsided” by their breakup.

While Conover tried to control the narrative, DeSorbo set the record straight. Now, with the timeline exposed, his words don’t just seem misleading—they prove he’s back to having trouble telling the truth.

Conover’s relationship with reality has been an ongoing topic on “Southern Charm” for years. Fans remember it took multiple seasons to reveal the truth about his law school degree and whether he had passed the bar exam. But even though he seems to have grown up quite a bit, the Sewing Down South owner seems to be playing fast and loose with the truth.

Does this mean Conover is also lying about Jarrett “JT” Thomas calling Patricia Altschul a derogatory term this season, a claim JT has denied? That remains to be seen, but Conover’s history of “storytelling” does not help his case.

Fans can catch Conover and often DeSorbo on new episodes of “Southern Charm” on Thursdays on Bravo.
