Paige DeSorbo shared new details about her relationship with Craig Conover – and why it ended last fall.
The “Summer House” star spoke out on the “Summer House After Show,” on March 19 to admit that she loved Conover so much that she “tolerated too much” as she tried to balance their relationship with her growing career.
DeSorbo and Conover dated for more than three years before their breakup in December 2024.

NBC/BravoDeSorbo said she was very supportive of Conover’s career when they were together. Her co-stars Amanda Batula and Ciara Miller noted that she showed up at Conover’s South Carolina store, Sewing Down South, and did meet and greets with him. Miller compared it to DeSorbo “constantly having to be a mother to this man.”
“I think, obviously, when you’re in it you can’t see it the way you see it when you’re out of it, or the way your friends see it,” Desorbo said on the After Show. “And I think I loved him so much that I tolerated too much.”
The “Giggly Squad” host claimed that once she was out of the relationship, she could see that Conover tended to make her milestones and events about him. “It was just embarrassing and so that’s something that I look back on now and I’m like, ‘Oh wow, I really was very blinded.”
DeSorbo noted that Conover chalked off her past panic attacks to her working too much while she was on her podcast tour and never considered that he could be contributing to her stress. She also said he advised her to watch a documentary on the Swedish pop group Abba as a primer on how tours can break up relationships.
DeSorbo also noted that she and Conover never had great communication and that she even hid some of her career milestones from him so as not to upset him. “I feel like when I know I met my husband I’ll want to call him before I want to call my dad, and I haven’t met anyone like that yet so…” she added.
Craig Conover Talked About His Relationship on ‘Southern Charm’
As of this writing, Conover hasn’t reacted to DeSorbo’s latest on what went down.
In January, he told fans on his Instagram story that the breakup was “very “unexpected.” “Right before the holidays, I was very shocked,” he said. “And it’s OK. It takes two people to be in a relationship, and I can’t control other people, you can only control how you react to it.”
On the “Southern Charm” season 10n finale, he said he had a “normal Thanksgiving” with DeSorbo not long before she dropped the breakup bomb on him.
During a February appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” Conover said, “We were planning our future together” weeks before the split. “We didn’t want different things, she just wanted other people and that’s fine,” he added. “Like she didn’t want those things with me anymore.”
In a teaser for the ‘Southern Charm” reunion, Conover told host Andy Cohen, seemingly about the breakup, “Like all my stuff just showed up on my porch one day.”
