“The Valley” star Nia Sanchez announced she is expecting a baby girl with her husband and co-star, Danny Booko.
On February 24, Sanchez took to her Instagram account to share a video filmed at the couple’s gender reveal party. Before revealing she and her husband were having another girl, Sanchez said the celebration was poignant as this baby will be their “last one.” Sanchez and Booko are already parents to three children, Asher, 3, Isabelle, 20-months, and Zariah, 20-months.
“It’s kind of bittersweet because it’s the last one of these celebrations,” said Sanchez.
After Sanchez popped the confetti cannon which released pink tissue, Asher danced with joy.
Nia Sanchez Said Her Latest Pregnancy Was a ‘Surprise’
During a December 2024 interview with Us Weekly, alongside her husband, Sanchez said her latest pregnancy “was a complete surprise.” She explained that she and Booko intended to have another child. However, they did not plan to do so so soon.
“We had a plan. This was a little bit earlier than our plan. But we figured this baby needed to come at a certain time. Just a little earlier than planned,” said Sanchez during the December 2024 interview.
Bookout also said that he was excited for their new addition’s arrival.
“I grew up in a family of six. I have three siblings, so I’m one of four. So it’s gonna be the thing. I am best friends with my three other siblings and we talk every day. It was just such a fun, exciting and wild upbringing. I just feel so blessed,” said Bookout to Us Weekly.
‘The Valley’ Star Kristen Doute Is Also Expecting a Girl
Sanchez’s “The Valley” co-star Kristen Doute commented on her Instagram post. In her comment, she referenced that she is also pregnant with a baby girl.
“💕💕 girl besties!!” wrote Doute.
Doute and her fiance, Luke Broderick, opened up about her pregnancy during a January 2025 interview on “Bravo’s Hot Mic” podcast. Doute, who is expecting her first child, said her pregnancy was “okay,” compared to what her friends, especially Brittany Cartwright, went through when they were pregnant.
“It’s okay. Not Great. It’s not like the most fun thing I’ve ever done. It could be way worse. I think about my friends and I’m not sick like Brittany was,” said Doute during the podcast episode.
She also said she has been “moody as hell.” Broderick agreed with his fiancee’s assessment.
“It’s safe to say she’s been a little hormonal,” said Broderick.
Doute then explained that she is “on extra hormones” because she and Broderick conceived via IUI (Intrauterine Insemination).
The upcoming second season of “The Valley” does not yet have a release date.
