Mauricio Umansky Comments on Dorit Kemsley Romance Rumors

“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” personality Mauricio Umansky suggested he was annoyed by rumors he and Dorit Kemsley have been romantic.

During the December 24 episode of the “Bravo’s Hot Mic” podcast, alongside Dorit Kemsley’s estranged husband Paul “PK” Kemsley, Umansky briefly mentioned the speculation that he and the Beverly Beach designer do not have a strictly platonic relationship, as reported by BravoTV.com. Umansky also referenced that his estranged wife, RHOBH star Kyle Richards shared she has text exchanges with PK Kemsley. Umansky said he does not understand why Richards has received criticism for texting PK Kemsley following his May 2024 separation from Dorit Kemsley.

“The [expletive] that comes out that’s so not true is so crazy. The whole issue with [PK] and Kyle texting, like who gives a [expletive]? You guys are friends. The whole thing with me and Dorit having a thing, like, that’s so [expletive] stupid,” said Umansky on the podcast episode.

According to BravoTV.com, Richards addressed rumors that her estranged husband and Dorit Kemsley have been romantic. During a November 2024 interview with Extra TV, Richards referenced she was criticized for her texts with PK Kemsley. She said she believed the reaction was not proportional to the friendly texts she and PK Kemsley have sent each other.

“The funny thing is that there has been rumors about Dorit and Mauricio. Which were stupid and ridiculous,” said Richards to the publication. “But that’s the thing sometimes something so small can be made so big.”

“There was stuff that happened off camera that made me question what kind of friend she really is,” said Richards to Extra TV.

Richards made similar comments about Dorit Kemsley in a November 2024 interview with Access Hollywood. She said she was unhappy when Dorit Kemsley suggested she was exaggerating her emotions when she tearfully spoke about her relationship with Umansky at the 2023 BravoCon.

In a December 2024 episode of the “RHOBH After Show,” Kemsley said she believed Richards “iced [her] out” during the show’s 13th season. According to Kemsley, Richards chose not to lean on her when she first separated from Umansky in 2023. Kemsley said Richards’ decision to not speak to her about her relationship issues indicated that their friendship had changed.

“All of last year when things were going on with [Richards] and her husband, I was in the outside. I did not know anything,” said Kemsley. “I was one of the last people to know. Whereas, previously I would be in the inner circle. She would have confided in me, she would have shared with me.”
