RHONJ Star Explains Why She Was Sad About Paige DeSorbo & Craig Conover’s Breakup

“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Margaret Josephs shared her thoughts about Bravo personalities Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover‘s breakup.

During a January 6 appearance on “Reality Checked,” Josephs said she was upset when she discovered DeSorbo, of “Summer House” fame and the “Southern Charm” star ended their relationship in December 2024.

“I was sad they broke up because they’re the most gorgeous couple. They are both lovely people. I adore them both,” said Josephs.

Josephs suggested, however, that she understood why DeSorbo and Conover’s relationship came to an end. She referenced that both DeSorbo and Conover are focused on their respective careers. She also noted that Conover and DeSorbo were in a long-distance relationship throughout their three years of dating. As fans are aware, Conover lives in South Carolina, while DeSorbo resides in New York City.

“I think they are both very career driven,” said Josephs during the interview. “I think Craig is very Charleston. He’s not moving here. I think Paige is very New York. She’s not moving there.”

Margaret Josephs Mentioned Rumors That Paige DeSorbo Cheated in Her Relationship

During the “Reality Checked” interview, Josephs referenced that rumors have circulated that DeSorbo cheated on Conover during their relationship. Josephs said she believed the rumors were untrue.

“I think it just didn’t work out. I don’t think that there is any undercurrent. I don’t think anything else was going on,” said Josephs in the interview. “I don’t think Paige was unfaithful, like a lot of Bravo fans try to speculate. I think it’s very exactly what it seems to be. It didn’t work out. Two amazing people — it just didn’t work out.”

DeSorbo addressed the cheating rumors in the January 7 episode of her podcast, “Giggly Squad,” co-hosted by Hannah Berner. According to DeSorbo, some Bravo fans speculated that she had a romance with “Saturday Night Live” star Marcello Hernandez while she was dating Conover. DeSorbo said the rumors were false.

In addition, DeSorbo said she reached out to Hernandez about the rumors.

“I just texted him, I was like, ‘Hey, just wanna let you know there’s, like, a rumor going around that I cheated on my boyfriend with you.’ And he was like, ‘[Expletive] yeah!’” said DeSorbo.

Paige DeSorbo’s Castmates Commented on Rumors

While speaking to Page Six in January 2025, DeSorbo’s friends and “Summer House” castmates, Amanda Batula and Ciara Miller noted that rumors often circulate regarding the cast.

“We’ve all been on the other side of it where it’s so obviously rumors. There’s been so many rumors about us all individually that any headline [that] comes out, I’m just like, ‘This is ridiculous,'” said Batula to Page Six.

Miller also said that she believes the rumors Bravo viewers come up with are somewhat entertaining.

“It’s like, ‘Oh my God, what else can they make up?’” said Miller during the Page Six interview.
