Luann de Lesseps Dishes on That New Sparkly Ring

Engagement rumors are swirling after the June 15, 2025, finale of Bravo’s “Love Hotel.” Luann de Lesseps is now sharing some details on her love life after checking out of the hotel with suitor James Quine.

Just a few weeks ago, Luann was spotted out with a sparkly diamond on her wedding finger, and she explained everything on the June 15, 2025, episode of “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.”

When Luann popped up in the Hamptons, packing on the PDA with a new man, while wearing the new ring, engagement rumors followed. At the time, Luann told Us Weekly, “I will say that I got a brand new ring, and I’m a very happy girl, and that’s all I can say about that for now.”

Thankfully, Luann gave more details about her new ring to Andy Cohen. “It is an aquamarine [ring]. It was a gift from one of my admirers, that’s all I’m gonna say,” she said, confirming that the man who gave her the ring is not her “Love Hotel” costar. When asked why she was wearing the ring on her wedding finger, the “Real Housewives of New York City” alum said that “it doesn’t fit this one,” referring to her right hand.

Luann then pointed out the gold key that she wears on a necklace, a gift from her “Love Hotel” choice, James Quine.

Luann de Lesseps Is Keeping Her Options Open

James Quine may have left “Love Hotel” with Luann, but she says that he doesn’t mind her still seeing other people.

She shared with Andy Cohen, “You know what I love about James. He said to me, ‘You know, Lu, I live in Hawaii, I can’t be there with you all the time. It is totally OK if you date, and when we see each other, we see each other, because I love you.”

The two clicked because of their aristocratic backgrounds. On the show, James said that his stepmother was a close friend of Princess of Monaco Grace Kelly, while Luann was previously married to Count Alexandre de Lesseps.

“My father-in-law was the ambassador of Monaco for 40 years, and his stepmother was the best friend of Grace Kelly. They were both at the wedding of Rainier to Princess Grace. So we connected that way,” explained Lu on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.”
