Lindsay Hubbard Explains ‘Backwards’ Living Situation With Her Baby’s Father

Lindsay Hubbard is still not living with the father of her baby.

In a December 2024 interview with People magazine, the “Summer House” star admitted she’s still not ready to jump into a live-in situation with her boyfriend, despite giving birth to his child on December 8.

“[He] has spent the night and has been by my side 24/7 for the entire past month,” Hubbard told the outlet of her boyfriend. “And even though technically this is my apartment, this is our HQ for the home of our daughter and me. He basically brought over a bunch of clothes and toiletries and is essentially going between my apartment and his apartment, but rarely ever leaves me and Gemma.”

Hubbard still lives in the $13,000 per month luxury apartment she previously shared with her former fiancé Carl Radke. In May, she told the “Bitch Bible” podcast that she renewed the lease on her own. “My landlord and I worked out a deal where she actually reduced the rent, which never happens in New York,” Hubbard said.

Hubbard has not publicly named her mystery boyfriend but her newborn daughter’s name is Gemma Kufe. In July, Page Six reported that Hubbard’s beau is Dr. Turner Kufe.

Lindsay Hubbard Is Not Looking for Marriage

Hubbard has been vocal about the fact that she does not want to rush things in her new relationship. After splitting from Radke in August 2023, she began dating her new guy in January 2024.

Speaking on “Access Hollywood’s Housewives Nightcap,” Hubbard explained why she continues to live apart from her boyfriend. “Obviously it’s a newer relationship,” she said in September. “We’ve only been dating since January; I found out I was pregnant in April. So, I pretty much took everything off the table, like look I am not looking for a proposal, I’m not looking to get engaged I’m not even thinking about marriage and I’m not even thinking about moving in together. …When we’re ready, when the timing is right in our relationship maybe we’ll move in together, maybe we’ll talk about marriage. But right now, it’s working for us.”

Hubbard correctly predicted that when their baby was born, her beau would spend every night at her apartment. The New Yorker also confirmed that her baby’s father lives just a few blocks from her “on the same Avenue.”

While speaking with People, Hubbard acknowledged that she did not want to put any more “pressure” on her already fast-paced relationship. “It’s a little backwards and it’s a little out of order, but I wasn’t about to add to the to-do list,” she explained. Hubbard did share that now that the baby is here, her living situation will likely change in 2025.

“It is being discussed,” the Bravo star said of moving in with her boyfriend. “My lease is up in June. We talk a lot about school districts and making those decisions based off of where we might want to send Gemma to school.”
