Bravo Star Shares Why Her Current Boyfriend Broke up With Her Over 4 Years Ago

“Summer House” star Lindsay Hubbard is opening up about her relationship with her boyfriend, Dr. Turner Kufe.

During an appearance on a January 2025 episode of the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast, Hubbard said she and Kufe dated toward “the end of 2020” after being introduced through friends. According to Hubbard, she and Kufe “went on three or four dates.” She said, however, that he decided to break up with her because he was not ready to have a committed relationship.

“Then he broke things off with me because he just wasn’t in a place to be in a relationship. He didn’t want to waste my time. It was very very respectful,” said Hubbard on the podcast episode.

Hubbard also said that Kufe “reached back out in December 2023,” four months after her breakup from her ex-fiance and “Summer House” co-star Carl Radke. The couple started dating in January 2024.

Lindsay Hubbard Opened up About Learning She Was Pregnant

While recording the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” episode, Hubbard noted that she got pregnant with their 1-month-old daughter, Gemma, three months after dating Kufe for the second time. According to Hubbard, she told Kufe he did not need to be a present father.

“I gave him every out possible. And he looked at me and he was like, ‘No. I want to do this. We’re going to do this together.’ And he’s like, ‘I love you. And we’re going to do this together,'” recalled Hubbard.

Hubbard noted that she and Kufe had to navigate expecting a child after only briefly dating during an October 2024 interview with Entertainment Tonight.

“When we found out I was pregnant, we had only been dating for three months. It’s hard to digest. It’s like, ‘Oh wow. So our lives are going to change. We’re going to be in each other’s lives for forever before we really have a chance to figure that out,'” said Hubbard to the publication.

Lindsay Hubbard Said She Is Not in a Rush to Get Married to Her Boyfriend

While speaking to Access Hollywood in August 2024, Hubbard said she is not in a rush to marry her boyfriend. According to Hubbard, she told Kufe that she was not interested in getting engaged after she discovered she was pregnant.

“I pretty much took everything off the table. I was like, ‘Look, I’m not looking for a proposal. I’m not looking to get engaged. I’m not even thinking about marriage,'” said Hubbard to the publication.

She also noted that she and Kufe do not currently live together.
