Kyle Richards Explains Why She Still Hasn’t Seen Mauricio Umansky’s Bachelor Pad

Kyle Richards revealed why she has yet to see the condo Mauricio Umansky moved into after leaving their family home last spring.

The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star explained the situation during a February 2025 episode of the “RHOBH After Show.” During the chat, Richards explained that she wasn’t purposely avoiding her estranged husband’s new pad. “I still have not been to Mau’s condo,” Richards said, adding that it wasn’t “intentional.” “It just hasn’t worked out,” she explained.

Richards also shared that she may go over at some point to get her belongings that were housed at Umansky’s in the wake of the California wildfires in January 2025. “Actually, now, I have my valuables that I sent there because of the fires, so I can go whenever I want to get them,” she said. “I just haven’t been there yet, but [our daughter] Portia dropped off the valuables.”

Richards and Umansky announced their separation in July 2023 but they continued to live together for months afterwards. In May 2024, Us Weekly reported that Umansky moved into a luxury condo in West Hollywood, California.

Kyle Said Mauricio Has Invited Her Over Multiple Times

Richards spoke out on a previous episode of the “RHOBH After Show” to share that Umansky has invited her to his new place multiple times. “I have yet to go to his place,” Richards said in December. “He’s invited me a number of times, actually. It just hasn’t worked out yet, not for any particular reason. I’ve been out of town for certain things, I had plans.”

Richards noted that Umansky wanted to celebrate the holidays with her at his house, but she felt it was smarter to do it at their family home in Encino.

“I was like, ‘I have more space here, you’ll have to rent tables.’ So, I’ve been still hosting the Jewish holiday dinners with his family,” she shared.

During the February 2025 After Show episode, Richards did admit that it might feel strange to see Umansky’s new “single” space after living with him for 28 years.

“I do think it would be a little weird going over there and seeing a bachelor pad. I don’t know that life of his and that part of him,” she admitted on the Bravo update show. “It would be weird, but that’s not why I’m not going.”

In the RHOBH episode titled “Life’s a Beach,” Richards said the original agreement was that Umansky would move out temporarily.  “He decided to buy furniture, which of course, is more permanent. So, then I thought, oh, well, this does not seem very temporary,” she said in a confessional.

Richards still lives in the $8.25 million Encino estate she bought with Umansky in 2018. In a heartbreaking RHOBH season 14 scene, Richards told her ex “it’s quiet sometimes” living at home without the whole family there. “You’re in a new place and it feels new and different,” she told Umansky. “I’m in our home. I’m in the place where everybody was… and it just feels different.”
