Pregnant Bravo Star Explains Why She Plans on Having Her Child on TV

“The Valley” star Kristen Doute, who announced her pregnancy in November 2024, shared that she plans on filming with her daughter once she is born.

During a March 2025 episode of her podcast, “Balancing Act,” Doute said she believes the third season of “The Valley” will begin filming eight weeks after her June 2025 due date. She said she is not looking forward to filming the Bravo series while she is in a vulnerable state. Doute said, however, that she is fine “with having [her] newborn on TV.” The former “Vanderpump Rules” star said she does not believe appearing on “The Valley” will negatively affect her daughter.

“What is she going to remember about it? She’s brand new. She’s not going to have a core memory of being eight weeks old and having a camera around her. This is part of my life. This is what we do. Of course, they aren’t going to disrupt her nap time or something,” said Doute during her podcast episode.

While speaking to Us Weekly in December 2024, Doute and her fiance, Luke Broderick, confirmed they were having a baby girl. Doute said she was sure she was pregnant with a boy.

 “I guessed wrong 100 percent of the time when it came to my friends’ pregnancies and not shockingly, I wasn’t right for mine either,” said Doute to the publication.

She also said she believes her fiance will thrive with a daughter.

 “Luke was made to be a girl dad,” said Doute during the Us Weekly interview.

Kristen Doute’s Co-Star Nia Sanchez Is Also Pregnant

Doute’s “The Valley” co-stars Nia Sanchez and Danny Booko are expecting their fourth child. In a December 2024 interview with Us Weekly, Sanchez noted that Doute is also pregnant. She shared that she and her husband decided to tell Doute and Broderick they were expecting before they informed their other “The Valley” co-stars.

“We did tell Luke and Kristen because they’re pregnant. So we’ve actually been trying to tell them specifically for weeks. It was the funniest thing because for Kristen, it didn’t click right away. She thought we were talking about her pregnancy,” said Sanchez during the interview. “We were taking a video and we say, ‘We’re pregnant.’ She goes, ‘Yeah, we are pregnant.’ She was thinking that we were saying that we’re all a family and we are celebrating her pregnancy. Then finally she goes, ‘Hold on, you’re pregnant?’”

Sanchez also told the publication that she and Doute have established a strong bond.

“Now that we’re both pregnant, we are definitely extra close. It’s been nice to be there for her during the early stages of her pregnancy,” said Sanchez.
