Jesse Solomon thinks Lindsay Hubbard will return to “Summer House” next season. In a March 2025 interview with Us Weekly, the Bravo TV personality said he doesn’t think Hubbard’s new role as a mom will keep her away from filming at the Hamptons party house.
“There’s no crib in the house,” Solomon noted. But he added, “I’m expecting that Lindsay will be back in the summer house. I’m sure she’ll come by herself and then she’ll also bring the baby, and we’ll all see the baby.”
Hubbard, 38, welcomed her first baby with boyfriend Turner Kufe in December 2024. The baby girl, Gemma, will be just turning eight months old when “Summer House” begins filming this summer.
Jesse Solomon Said West Wilson’s Comment was ‘Overblown’
Solomon’s prediction about Hubbard’s future on the show came a few weeks after his co-star West Wilson got into a bit of hot water on the topic.
In a February interview on Jason Tartick’s “Trading Secrets” podcast, Wilson was asked if he thought Hubbard would be back on the show next season. Wilson noted that he loved filming with Hubbard last summer when she was pregnant, and he even called her “so fun.”
As far as Hubbard returning to the show now that she’s a mom, Wilson speculated, “There’s no way, I don’t know, unless they bring the baby.”
“I don’t think I can babysit,” he added. “I don’t know how that works.”
At the time, several outlets reported the exchange as Wilson saying there was “no way” Hubbard would return to “Summer House” now that she was a mom.
Hubbard, who has been an original cast member on “Summer House” since its debut in 2017, took issue with how Wilson worded his response. She told “Betches’ “Mention It All” podcast. “The problem that I have with this statement… the problem I’m having is, I just became a mother and this is my job and I need to be a provider for my daughter,’” Hubbard said. “You going around being like, ‘There’s no way [she’s returning],’ is not really helpful, and is actually really hurtful.
The former PR rep added that she would be “so down for a media war with West Wilson.”
Solomon told Us Weekly the whole thing was “so overblown.” “I didn’t listen to the interview, but I’m sure he was just saying it would be weird if [she came back].” Solomon told the outlet.
During a guest spot on the March 12 episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” Wilson confirmed that he called Hubbard and they “squashed” the beef.
Lindsay Hubbard Expressed a Desire to Film in the City
As of this writing, Bravo has not announced the cast for “Summer House” season 10. The series usually begins filming around July 4 in the Hamptons. In recent years, scenes have also been shot in New York City, where the cast members live during the week.
In a previous interview, Hubbard told Entertainment Tonight that she “obviously” wouldn’t bring her baby to the shared party house in the Hamptons, but she pointed to the scenes filmed in the Big Apple.
“So, you know, not me maybe living in the house with my eight-month-old daughter but I do think that you know we leave a lot of room open for someone who’s in a transitional point in their life,” she teased of her possible future on the show.
