Jeff Lewis Shares His Theory About RHOSLC Star Bronwyn Newport’s Marriage

Bravo personality Jeff Lewis is sharing his thoughts about “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Bronwyn Newport’s relationship with her husband, Todd Bradley, 65. 

During an appearance on the November 26 episode of Nick Viall’s podcast, “The Viall Files,” Lewis said he was a fan of Newport, who began starring on RHOSLC during its 5th season, which premiered in September 2024. Lewis said, however, that he does not “like Todd.” He also said he believed Newport joined RHOSLC because “she’s planning her escape” from her marriage. 

“My theory is that she is creating financial independence. And she’s going to bail. That’s my prediction,” said Lewis during the interview. 

Viall interjected that Newport “doesn’t need financial independence” because she and Bradley do not have a prenuptial agreement. Viall also said he interviewed Newport and believes that she “seemed pretty in love” with her husband of eight years. 

Viall interviewed Newport during the October 23 episode of his podcast. During the podcast interview, Newport said she understood why some fans criticized how Bradley spoke to her while RHOSLC season 5 cameras were rolling. 

“Todd could be softer when he talks to me. I could stand up for myself a little bit more,” said Newport to Viall. 

She said, however, that she and Bradley have had productive conversations about their marriage after receiving feedback from RHOSLC season 5 viewers. 

“It has caused some really amazing conversation between Todd and I,” said the 39-year-old.  

Newport came to her husband’s defense during a November 2024 interview with Us Weekly. She said she does not believe that Bradley “really cares what [their relationship] looks like to anybody else.” 

“That’s a good reminder for me that I’m very happy with Todd and everyone else can see that or not see that, or wish they were me or not wish they were me. They should wish they were me — I’m in a great marriage, I love my relationship and I’m really happy,” said Newport to Us Weekly. 

Newport also shared a response to individuals who have said she is a “gold digger.” 

“I don’t want to shade anyone else’s marriage because I don’t like them shading mine, but I am interested in Britani [Bateman], Heather [Gay], and Meredith [Marks] of all people talking about someone else’s marriage. We got two who are not, have not been, have been divorced, have struggled and one who’s had some ups and downs. We should tend to our own grass before we worry about what Bronwyn’s grass looks like,” said Newport.
