Bravo Star Announces She Got Engaged During Italian Vacation

The Valley” star Jasmine Goode is officially engaged!

While speaking to Us Weekly in an interview, published on November 27, Goode shared that both she and her now-fiancee, Melissa Marie, asked each other to get married while spending time in Italy.

Goode told Us Weekly that she and Marie, who have been in a relationship since 2020, had been discussing “getting engaged” before their trip to Italy. She said, however, that she did not expect Marie to ask her the big question during their trip to Lake Como.

“We were just trying to find the right time and place to do it. Before I could even propose to her, she surprised me, which I was blown away [by],” said Goode during the interview.

In addition, Goode shared that she and Marie hope “to start a family really soon.”

“That’s our main goal. We both want to be moms and for us, we do want to make sure we’re married first. That’s something that means a lot to our family. So we wanted to just jump on it. It felt right,” said Goode.

During the Us Weekly interview, Marie also shared that she and Goode wanted their proposal “to be intimate and memorable.”

“But the one thing I did say is my dream would be something in Europe. Once [we booked our tickets for] Mallorca, I was like, ‘Oh, I think she might try to use this opportunity to propose.’ But I wanted to give her a special proposal because she deserves it. It wasn’t just about what I wanted,” said Marie to the publication.

During the Us Weekly interview, Goode said that her relationship with Marie will be featured in “The Valley” season 2.

“People will be seeing more of Melissa this season. So I’m really excited for people to see us together in our element,” said Goode.

In addition, Goode said her castmates Brittany Cartwright, Zack Wickham, and Kristen Doute expressed their excitement for her and Marie’s engagement.

“It’s so funny because I had Brittany [Cartwright], Kristen [Doute] and Zack [Wickham] asking if I did it already. But we shared it with them. They’re so excited and I love how supportive they’ve all been,” said Goode.

During a June 2024 interview on the “Literally, Not OK with Alexis Waters” podcast, Goode explained why Marie did not make many appearances on “The Valley” season 1. She said she and her now fiancee were brought on to be “one of the couples on the show.” However, Marie “was under contract with another project she did before.”

“The crossover happened so quickly that she wasn’t able to film full-time. But moving forward that won’t be a problem,” said Goode.

Jasmine Goode Teased Information About ‘The Valley’ Season 2

In an October 2024 interview with Us Weekly, alongside Wickham, Goode teased information about “The Valley” season 2, which does not yet have a release.

“Unexpect the unknown. I would say that because it’s definitely — I think people think they know what’s going to happen but it’s not,” said Goode during the October 2024 interview.
