Gia Giudice Plans Big Move Amid Rising Fame on Next Gen NYC

Gia Giudice has always been a Jersey girl — but her next chapter may involve a new zip code. As her Bravo career heats up on “Next Gen NYC,” the 24-year-old is preparing for a major move and opening up about her much-discussed tension with castmate Riley Burruss.

Gia Giudice Reveals Plans to Leave Her Family’s New Jersey Mansion

After graduating from Rutgers University in 2023, Gia Giudice moved back into her mother, Teresa Giudice’s, home in Montville, New Jersey. But now, the “Next Gen NYC” star says she’s gearing up to leave the nest.

In a recent interview with Today, Gia explained that her work commitments are pulling her closer to the city. “I am in the city at least four times a week,” she said. “It’s a lot of back and forth from Jersey. My schedule has only picked up since ‘Next Gen NYC,’ which is funny because no one even knew we were filming at the time.”

Gia has her sights set on relocating by fall. “I’m either going to do Manhattan or Jersey City. I’m gonna figure it out,” she told the outlet. But don’t expect her to fully cut ties with home: “I’ll still spend my weekend at home, maybe every other weekend… I have to see my Bella,” she said, referring to the family dog.

Gia also opened up about her potential living situation during the “Turning the Tables” podcast with her mom. She admitted she’d prefer to move in with longtime boyfriend Christian Carmichael rather than live alone. “He’s literally going to be over every night anyway if I lived on my own,” she joked. Teresa responded with a laugh and said, “I give you my blessing.”

The Former RONJ Star Addresses Riley Burruss Feud: ‘I Didn’t Think It Was That Deep’

While Gia’s move is making headlines, so is her on-screen tension with fellow castmate Riley Burruss. Their subtle clash has emerged as one of the buzziest storylines on “Next Gen NYC,” though both women have kept their responses relatively composed — so far.

On her “Casual Chaos” podcast, Gia described the moment things got awkward. “I actually said to her once, ‘I feel like Atlanta and Jersey give the same energy,’” Gia explained. “She didn’t like that. She said, ‘No, they’re very different.’” Gia claims she let it go, but the comment clearly struck a nerve.

Dolores Catania, who appeared on the same podcast episode, defended Gia, saying it wasn’t very “nice” of Riley to be offended over such a passing remark.

Gia later addressed the feud in Us Weekly, insisting the issue has been blown out of proportion. “I didn’t think it was that deep,” she said. “I don’t know how to please her, I guess.”

She also pointed to a viral TikTok that seemed to summarize the situation accurately. “He said, ‘I don’t really think Gia was comparing Kandi and Teresa.’ I was not,” she clarified. “In no way, shape, or form.”

Fans can catch Giu Giudice on new episodes of “Next Gen NYC” on Tuesday nights on Bravo.
