Gia Giudice Says Luis ‘Louie’ Ruelas Told Teresa Giudice to Apologize to Her

“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice and her daughter Gia Giudice, 23, opened up about a recent argument. 

While recording the November 13 episode of Teresa Giudice’s podcast, “Turning The Tables,” Gia Giudice shared she was frustrated with her mother after she requested her to bring her a bag containing her clothes and a bottle of her $28 body wash for an overnight stay in New York. According to Gia Giudice, her mother did not check to make sure that the cap of the body wash was tightened, causing the liquid to spill on her clothes. 

Teresa Giudice interjected that her daughter could have warned her that the cap was not fully screwed on. 

“Why didn’t you tell me, ‘Ma, made sure the top is screwed on properly,’” said Teresa Giudice. 

Gia Giudice said she and her mother argued about the situation via text message for 30 minutes until her stepfather Luis “Louie” Ruelas convinced Teresa Giudice to apologize. 

“Louie told you to say sorry to me because it was your fault!” said Gia Giudice. 

Teresa Giudice said she “did say sorry because [she] felt really bad” about the situation. In addition, she said she offered to purchase “five bottles of the body wash” for her eldest daughter to make amends. 

Gia Giudice accompanied her mother on a September 2024 episode of “Turning The Tables.” During the podcast episode, Teresa Giudice gave Gia Giudice an apology for how she was raised. Teresa Giudice said she was strict towards Gia Giudice. She also explained she was more lenient with her younger children, Gabriella Giudice, 20, Milania Giudice, 18, and Audriana Giudice, 15, because of her and her ex-husband, Joe Giudice’s respective prison stays.

“I just wanted to say sorry for being so strict with you. I was like a really strict parent. And then with your sisters, I wasn’t as strict because of all the legal stuff,” said Teresa Giudice to her eldest daughter on the podcast episode. 

Gia Giudice assured her mother that she enjoyed how she was raised. 

“I loved the way I grew up. I grew up very disciplined. Very structured. And like, that’s how I’m literally going to raise my kids, like how you raised me,” said Gia Giudice. 

During an August 2024 “Turning The Tables” podcast episode, Ruelas, who wed Teresa Giudice in August 2022, complimented Gia Giudice for her hard work and courage. 

“She’s strong, she’s beautiful, she’s hardworking, she’s fearless,” said Ruelas. 

In addition, Ruelas shared his thoughts about Gia Giudice’s sisters. He said he is “very close with Milania,” and appreciates her big heart. He also called Audriana “a beautiful young girl,” who is following in the footsteps of her older sisters. Ruelas also shared he was impressed with Gabriella Giudice’s intelligence and calm nature.
