RHONJ Star Is Moving to Florida

“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Frank Catania shared he’s moving to Florida.

During the March 6 episode of RHONJ star Melissa Gorga‘s podcast, “On Display,” Catania said he and his wife, Brittany Mattessich, are selling their Franklin, New Jersey property and are headed to Delray Beach, Florida.

“We’re moving,” said Catania during the podcast interview.

He explained that he decided to move because he “just can’t handle” the cold weather in New Jersey. Catania clarified that he and Mattessich are keeping their Jersey Shore beach house. He said that he intends to live in the Jersey Shore house from April to October. He and his wife will reside in Florida during the remaining months.

Frank Catania Revealed He Has Been Married to Brittany Mattessich Since November 2024

While recording the “On Display” episode, Catania revealed he and Mattessich had been secretly married since November 2024. He noted that he and his now-wife intended to have a wedding on Captiva Island in Florida on November 9, 2024. However, Hurricanes Helene and Milton prevented them from doing so. Despite having to cancel their wedding, Catania and Mattessich decided to privately tie the knot.

He also shared that they do plan on celebrating their marriage with another wedding in New Jersey. Catania said they have not yet settled on a wedding date.

Dolores Catania Shared Her Thoughts About Frank Catania’s Relationship

Frank Catania was married to his first wife, RHONJ star Dolores Catania until 1998. The former couple share two children, Frankie Catania and Gabby Catania.

While speaking to Entertainment Tonight in November 2023, Dolores Catania said she was “so happy” that her ex-husband and Mattessich got engaged.

“I really am. He was very excited about it. She couldn’t be happier. And I love them for each other,” said Catania to the publication.

Catania then said that she appreciates Mattessich because she does not bring any issues to her ex-husband’s life.

“The one thing about Frank when he always describes Brittany to me is ‘She doesn’t give me any trouble.’ And at this point in our lives, we just look for peace. We’re older. No one is looking to argue. And she’s just really easy going for him. And then mend well together,” said Catania during the 2023 interview.

During a July 2024 interview with Access Hollywood, Catania shared she had been helping Mattessich plan her November 2024 wedding.

“I’ve even been involved with some of the wedding planning. When I see things on Instagram, I’ll send it to her. And she’s actually gone with some ideas. So it’s been fun,” said Catania to Access Hollywood.
