Emira D’Spain brings her signature girly glamor to Bravo‘s “Next Gen NYC,” which features a group of fame-adjacent friends living in the city. Emira D’Spain’s Parents Aren’t Famous

Several of the cast members on “Next Gen NYC” have “Bravolebrities” for parents. These include Riley Burruss and Ariana Biermann, whose moms rose to prominence on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” and Gia Giudice, whose mom Theresa is an OG “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star.

However, Emira’s parents are not in the spotlight. Bravo says the Dubai-born socialite’s mother and father are in finance and engineering. The family moved from Dubai to Dallas, TX in her childhood, where she grew up attending a fine arts school, per E! News.

In an October 2021 TikTok, Emira showed the world her twin brothers. “Sibling shots,” she wrote.

Emira’s Mother Inspired Her Beauty Aspirations

The reality starlet also told Elite Daily she fell in love with the world of cosmetics thanks to her mother. “My mom is a beauty queen, and I’d watch her get ready,” she said, before adding that it was during her college years, which she spent at NYU, that she got serious about makeup and started putting together her own looks.

A beauty editor position at Paper Magazine launched her into beauty content creation, which she parlayed into social media success. The story says Emira hopped onto TikTok at just the right time, joining the first wave of creators to popularize the platform’s “GRWM” videos.

Emira says she told her parents about her choice to pursue social media as her main path after getting a taste of major success with a Victoria’s Secret brand deal in 2022. Their initial reaction was less than thrilled when she broke the news she planned to quit her job for her dream. Although they at first wanted her to “keep a 9 to 5,” per the feature.

However, Bravo says Emira’s parents ended up putting “their full support” behind her career, which eventually enabled her to buy a new house for her family.

The makeup expert’s mom has appeared in some of her content, including a March 2024 makeup tutorial which Emira posted alongside the caption calling her mother “so beautiful.”
