A star from the 10th season of “Southern Charm” weighed in on a rumor that Craig Conover was spotted on a dinner date with a single co-star two months after his breakup with Paige DeSorbo.
On February 9, Jarrett “JT” Thomas commented on a rumor sent into Deux Moi that was reposted by @BravoBreakingNews. “[Salley] Carson and Craig Conover in NYC at Nobu having dinner,” a tipster wrote to the gossip site. Thomas responded with, “Makes sense.”
It is unclear if Thomas was being sarcastic or serious, given his past issues with Conover and the rest of the “Southern Charm” cast.
Conover was in New York last week for an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live.” While he was there, he explained that he gave Thomas a second chance after other “Southern Charm” cast members ostracized him because he believed Thiomas was trying to do better.
Thomas announced his exit from the show weeks before the 10th season began to air on Bravo in December.
Craig Conover & Salley Carson Are Both Recently Single
BravoDuring filming for the 10th season of “Southern Charm” last summer, newcomer Salley Carson was dating fitness trainer Andrew Dietz. She appeared to be smitten with him and even gave him a key to her house. Carson shared an update on her romance during a Q&A on her Instagram stories on January 19. After a fan asked, “Are you still with Andrew?” she replied, “No!”
It is unclear when the two split. In September 2024, Dietz posed with Carson at The Windjammer Beach Club.
In December 2024, DeSorbo announced her split from Conover on an episode of her “Giggly Squad” podcast. While she claimed it was a mutual decision after three years together, Conover stated on WWHL that it was not at all mutual.
The Sewing Down South founder also claimed to be “very shocked” by the breakup when he initially addressed fans in a video posted to his Instagram story on January 7.
Could Craig Conover Be Salley Carson’s New Type?
“Southern Charm” fans are just getting to know Carson, but she did admit that Dietz was not the usual type of guy that she dated. “Andrew is not my usual type,” the spine surgery robot operator admitted in a confessional in the “Southern Charm” season 10 episode “Making a Splash.” “I’m typically with a businessman, I feel like. You know, really aggressive? But Andrew wants to communicate everything and talk so soft. I don’t know. I love that my type’s changing.”
Conover is a successful businessman, but he also has a soft side. When he was with DeSorbo, she told the “LadyGang” podcast that her boyfriend was a “hopeless romantic.”
