Craig Conover Shares How He’s Changed His Behavior for His Relationship

“Southern Charm” star Craig Conover is opening up about how he has changed his behavior for the future of his relationship with his girlfriend of three years, “Summer House” personality Paige DeSorbo.

In a December 2024 interview with People magazine, Conover said he has limited how much he consumes alcohol to about one drink a month.

“I pretty much stopped drinking. Probably once every two months I’ll have a drink or two, but that is drastically better than drinking every night or every other night. I’m having fun finding that middle ground,” said Conover during the People magazine interview.

Conover said he has reduced his drinking because he “started to become more of a husband and father material than just the fun boyfriend” to DeSorbo. He also said he appreciated that his own father refrained from drinking during his childhood.

“I could see it in Paige’s eyes that she saw the person I could be. A lot of the energy I used to put into going out was now being put into my company [Sewing Down South], so my schedule has increased drastically,” said Conover to People magazine.

Craig Conover Shared How Paige DeSorbo Has Changed Him

In an exclusive September 2024 interview with Entertainment NOW (previously Heavy Entertainment), Conover shared how dating DeSorbo has changed him.

“I’ve grown up a lot!” said Conover.

In addition, Conover said that he does not mind when he is questioned about his and DeSorbo’s relationship timeline. As fans are aware, the couple have a long-distance relationship, with Conover in Charleston and DeSorbo in New York.

“I like sharing our lives with everyone, because there are way more people who can relate to us than people realize,” said Conover.

While speaking to OK! Magazine in September 2024, Conover said he and DeSorbo are in agreement about their relationship. He said they are not in a rush to get engaged because they want to be in the best place possible before getting married.

“So, Paige and I are on the same page about getting married. We’re figuring things out all the things you’re supposed to figure out beforehand,” said Conover during the interview.

In addition, Conover said DeSorbo wants “to become a successful career woman before she becomes Craig’s fiancé[e]” and “independence.”

“I respect all of that. Sometimes that was hard to figure out. I had to make a decision — do I stay in a relationship where I’m happy and have no idea what the future looks like or do I move on? For me, I’m happier with Paige and not knowing what tomorrow looks like,” said Conover to the publication.
