“Southern Charm” star Craig Conover is sharing what he is looking for in his next romantic partner following his November 2024 split from “Summer House” personality Paige DeSorbo.
During a February 2025 interview with Access Hollywood’s “Housewives Nightcap,” Conover said he is “excited to find someone” he can travel with. He said that he and DeSorbo “traveled great together” during their 3-year-long relationship.
“I just want someone to travel with. ‘Cause I’m on the road so much now. And I’m fortunate that I can be very spontaneous with my time. And I think it would be fun to find someone share that life with again,” said Conover during the interview.
Craig Conover Opened up About Navigating His Breakup in the Public Eye
During the Access Hollywood’s “Housewives Nightcap” interview, Conover spoke about navigating his breakup with DeSorbo in the public eye.
“Obviously the beginning of any breakup is going to be messy, especially when you are under the microscope. I hope that everyone can see that there was so much good that came out of it. So it’s really just trying to focus on the future, instead of the past,” said Conover to the publication.
Conover also said he believed being transparent about his recent split has helped some Bravo fans.
“I’ve got thousands of messages like, ‘This happened to me too. And now I met the love of my life.’ And what you realize is that we’re all so similar,” said Conover.
Paige DeSorbo’s ‘Summer House’ Co-Stars Have Voiced Their Support for Her
DeSorbo’s “Summer House” co-stars and friends, Amanda Batula and Ciara Miller have been vocal in their support for her following her split. For instance, while speaking to Page Six in January 2025, Batula said she was unhappy with how Conover has handled his breakup. She said she believed he should have clarified that DeSorbo did not cheat on him.
Miller made similar comments in a February 2025 interview with Us Weekly. She said “it would have been nice” for Conover to assure fans that DeSorbo was not unfaithful. According to Miller, DeSorbo helped Conover with his public image throughout their relationship.
“Given the past three years I feel like Paige has been so generous and not letting things come to air. And this one time that Paige needed him to say something. And Paige didn’t cheat on Craig. And he knows that,” said Miller during the Us Weekly interview.
Miller also told the publication that she was not necessarily surprised by Conover and DeSorbo’s split.
“There were just some things were I was like, ‘This isn’t it,'” said Miller.
Conover explained why he did not clear up the cheating rumors in a February 2025 interview on “Watch What Happens Live.” He said he did not feel it was his responsibility to do so because DeSorbo broke up with him. In addition, he said that he never said DeSorbo cheated on him.
