Craig Conover’s Ex Reveals ‘Hilarious’ Thing They Talked About Recently

Craig Conover seems to be on good terms with his ex-girlfriend Naomie Olindo. The “Southern Charm” stars, who dated for nearly three years before their split in 2017, were recently in communication, per Olindo.

In August 2025, Olindo posted an “Ask me anything” Q&A on her Instagram page,  per BravoTV.com. One fan asked the question, “Would you and Craig ever do a TikTok ‘what’s wrong with my sewing,’ it would be epic viral.”

Olindo gave a surprising response: “Hahahahha, funny enough, we just talked about how hilarious this would be the other day. Maybe!” she replied.

Conover also reshared a screenshot of Olindo’s response on his Instagram stories.

Naomie Olindo Famously Called Out Craig Conover For His Sewing on ‘Southern Charm’

The fan question referred to one of the most iconic scenes on “Southern Charm.” In Season 5, Olindo questioned what Conover was doing with his life as he focused on his passion for sewing. “You sit home and you sew and you pretend to do things!” she said.

“What’s wrong with my sewing?” the future Sewing Down South founder asked.

Conover, who turned his passion for sewing into a successful pillow and home décor business, told Us Weekly that he felt “sad” when Olindo failed to support his dream. “It’s just funny how I really was the only one that saw the vision,” he said. “People were so passionate about my life that weren’t me. I never understood it.”

“I think I was lonely [at] the time because I felt like I was the only one that shared my thoughts [about the business],” Conover added. “Fortunately, I had supportive parents, but soon after, I ended up moving to The Bahamas and being like, ‘I just need to find myself.’ And everything happens for a reason.”

“I’m just happy I did what I said I was going to do,” he added.

Conover’s Sewing Down South business takes him on the road to home shows across the country. In February, the “Southern Charm” star was a guest speaker at the Philly Home and Garden Show in Oaks, PA, where he was asked about his relationship with Olindo.

After a fan asked if he thinks Olindo regretted breaking up with him now that he’s a successful businessman, Conover laughed and replied, “This is like an Andy Cohen question.”

 “I try not to speak for other people up here, so you would have to ask her,” he added. “But I truly believe in like chapters of life, and she was my first real relationship as an adult.“
