Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards’ daughter Sami Sheen has embraced the spotlight as an adult, and she often shares personal details with her fans on social media. In a video she posted on TikTok on July 27, Sami gave fans a glimpse into her life.

In the clip, she discussed her mental health and diagnosis with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). She also commented on how it impacted her decisions and behaviors.

Sami Sheen Opens Up About Her Diagnosis

There are many different reactions to OCD, and Sheen wanted to set the record straight about something that annoys her. “Nothing aggravates me more than when someone is like, ‘Oh, my god. I’m so OCD I need to keep my room clean and organized,” she told the camera. “That is not OCD.”

She also admitted to how her diagnosis impacts her life, specifically with a focus on expiration dates. “I’m so OCD that even if I buy something from the grocery store that day and I read the expiration date over and over and over and over again, somehow I will convince myself it’s a fake expiration date and it’s actually expired a year ago,” she said. “And if I eat it I’m going to get violently ill. So I have to throw it away and starve.”

She captioned the post with a sarcastic message, writing, “so fun! #ocd.”

“It feels so good to see someone have the same OCD symptoms, everything thinks I’m kidding or crazy. I throw so much food away,” a comment reads. “​​I’m always late because I have to check I’ve turned everything off multiple times, even though I definitely did the first time,” another person shared. 

Other reactions include, “Yeah, and everyone’s compulsions are different. I wish my germ issues translated to normal cleaning and household chores,” “ARE WE THE SAME PERSON??,” and “My OCD is so bad that when I eat a sandwich I can not eat any parts that have been touched with my fingers.”

In June, Sami made headlines when she discussed her health and how her breast implants (which she got in 2023) were making her sick. She informed fans she wanted to remove them.
