Reality TV fans are in for a crossover no one saw coming. Ashley Iaconetti Haibon—best known for crying in sand dunes on “The Bachelor”—has officially entered Bravo territory. “The Bachelor” and “Bachelor in Paradise” alum was recently spotted filming “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island,” and social media wasted no time sounding off.
‘Bachelor’ Alum Is Reportedly Coming Over to Bravo
TikTok creator @mikeyybabyy7 shared footage that appeared to confirm Iaconetti’s involvement, showing her filming with rumored cast member Jo-Ellen Tiberi.
“She doesn’t have the self-awareness or control to keep her facade up,” one TikTok user wrote in the comments. “She’s messy and emotional, and I love it.” Others agreed that Ashley strikes the perfect balance between known and relatable. “She’s not overly famous, which makes her even more interesting to watch.”
Iaconetti’s resume includes “The Bachelor” season 19, “Bachelor in Paradise,” and “The Bachelor Winter Games.” She now co-hosts “The Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast” and the “I Don’t Get It” podcast with her sister Lauren Iaconetti and former “Bachelor” producer Naz Perez.
Weeks after Bravo confirmed that “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island” was happening, Dorinda Deadly on X named Brianna LaTorre, Jo-Ellen Tiberi, Elizabeth McGraw, Monique Pass, Rosie Woods, Alicia Carmody, Stephanie Costa, and Kelsey Swanson as the eight women who will star. Now, you can apparently add Iaconnetti to that list.
Filming for ‘Real Housewives of Rhode’ Island Kicks Off Across the Ocean State
Iaconetti’s Bravo debut comes as filming ramps up across Rhode Island for the franchise’s latest spinoff. According to local sources, The Providence Journal, and Instagram accounts like @whatsgoingoninrhodeisland, the cast has already been spotted at locations including Seven Stars Bakery, Metro Nails, Water Street Kitchen, and Goddard State Park.
Page Six recently caught up with Bravo executive producer Andy Cohen, who teased that the cast is “very Italian” and tightly connected. “Rhode Island is such a small state, and they all kind of know each other and overlap,” Cohen said. “It’s an incredible group of women who have really interesting connections.”
One rumored cast member, Alicia Carmody, has been seen filming in both Providence and Cranston. But it’s Iaconetti’s casting that’s creating the most buzz. With her Rhode Island roots—she married Jared Haibon at Rosecliff Mansion in 2019—her addition to RHORI feels surprisingly natural.
NBCUniversal has remained tight-lipped about the production, with spokesperson Jennifer Geisser telling local press, “We don’t make announcements during shooting or release where we are shooting to avoid interruptions.”
