Ariana Biermann Opens Up on Brielle’s Wedding and Maid of Honor Role

Growing up in the spotlight on “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Ariana Biermann and sister Brielle Biermann have always shared a close bond. Now, with Brielle’s recent engagement to minor league baseball player Billy Seidl, that sisterly connection is taking center stage as Ariana steps into the role of maid of honor for Brielle’s upcoming wedding.

In an exclusive interview with The Daily Dish, Ariana opened up about what’s next for the couple as well as her own excitement (and nerves) about helping plan the big day.

Brielle’s Dream Venue and a Long Engagement

Although the couple got engaged back in February 2024, it seems the wedding planning hasn’t quite kicked into full gear yet.

Ariana jokingly revealed that the couple “haven’t even started the process” and expressed concern about what that meant for her own role in planning for the big day. “What am I supposed to be doing? Like, shouldn’t I be getting ready? Don’t bombard me within one month.”

Ariana added with a laugh, “I’m gonna be overwhelmed, I know. Give me at least a six-month notice of when we’re planning on this, so I can plan everything.”

Despite the relaxed timeline, Brielle has a clear vision. Ariana shared that her sister has already picked out the perfect venue and is holding out for a specific date. “She kind of just wants it all to be perfect,” Ariana said. “It’s just putting together a whole board of everything she wants, and then we’re gonna get to planning it soon.”

Brielle, who got engaged just after her 27th birthday, has explained to fans why she’s embracing a longer engagement. “I’ve always said I wanted a long engagement to enjoy every phase of life,” she revealed in a June 2024 Instagram Q&A.

Keeping Love Private — and Finding Balance

Before going public, Brielle had kept her relationship with Billy Seidl under the radar. “All of my relationships [have] been really public,” she said on Instagram. “And given, you know, everything that’s going on right now, I just decided that I wanted to be a little more private with things that are really important to me. I get criticized on every single thing I do, 24/7, and I didn’t want any criticism on this.”

As her maid of honor, Ariana has been one of Brielle’s biggest supporters, even commenting “my favorite couple” on a recent anniversary post celebrating one year since the engagement.
