Andy Cohen Sends Support to Teddi Mellencamp Amid Her Brain Tumor Diagnosis

Andy Cohen took a moment to show his support for Teddi Mellencamp during “Watch What Happens Live” on February 12.

Mellencamp revealed in an Instagram post on February 12 that doctors confirmed she had several brain tumors, two of which were going to be surgically removed. She added that “the remaining tumors will be dealt with via radiation at a later date.”

Following her announcement, Cohen gave out his ‘Mazel of the Day’ on “Watch What Happens Live” on February 12, to Mellencamp.

“We know Teddi’s undergoing surgery tonight and is facing this challenge with courage and humor, surrounded by her family and close friends,” Cohen said. “Teddi, your Bravo family, your ‘Watch What Happens Live’ family is praying for you, too. We are sending you all our love and positive wishes. You are so strong. We love you and we are supporting you,”


Teddi Mellencamp Announces Her Brain Tumor Diagnosis On Instagram

Mellencamp let fans know on February 12 that she was diagnosed with several brain tumors.

“For the last several weeks I’ve been dealing with severe and debilitating headaches. Yesterday the pain was unbearable and required hospitalization,” Mellencamp wrote via her Instagram post. “After a CT scan and MRI, doctors found multiple tumors on my brain, which they believe have been growing for at least 6 months.”

The former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star also took a moment to show her appreciation for her “children, family, friends, doctors, nurses and surgeons who are doing everything possible to get me back into better health.”

“Thank you for everyone who has reached out, and everyone who has supported me in this journey,” Mellencamp continued.

Before her surgery, Mellencamp was joined by her close family and friends in the hospital. That included her estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave.

Mellencamp filed for divorce in November after 13 years of marriage and three children.

However, in an Instagram story posted on February 12, Mellencamp showed that she was not alone in her hospital room, with Arroyave sitting alongside her.

“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kyle Richards and singer Morgan Wade spent some time with Mellencamp as well. Richards also showed her support by commenting on Mellencamp’s announcement.

“Strongest woman I know ❤️ You have so much love and support around you. You’ve got this! 👊🏻❤️,” Richards wrote.

Cohen commented as well.

“sending you all positivity ❤️,” Cohen wrote.

They weren’t the only ones. Many others in the Bravo family also reached out to show their support.
