Andy Cohen stunned Bravo fans on Monday night when he brought out a very unexpected guest on “Watch What Happens Live”: former “Real Housewives of New York City” star Carole Radziwill. The moment marked the first public reunion between the two since their dramatic falling-out years earlier — and by all appearances, the beef is officially squashed.
A Surprise Guest Rings the Doorbell on ‘WWHL’
Radziwill, 61, entered the set to the sound of Cohen’s famous doorbell, catching fellow guests Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers completely off guard.
“It’s Carole Radziwill!” Cohen, 57, shouted, visibly excited as the former Housewife walked onstage.
“She’s one of my favorites,” Rogers said while hugging Radziwill. Yang was equally thrilled, jumping up for his own hug.
Cohen declared it a “triumphant return” as Radziwill sat down opposite him, offering viewers the Bravo reunion they didn’t see coming.
When asked who she still talks to from her “RHONY” days, Radziwill said she occasionally sees Dorinda Medley and Heather Thomson — and recently ran into Ramona Singer and Luann de Lesseps at a party.
“I went right up to them,” she said, joking that she couldn’t even remember if she and de Lesseps “hate each other.” Her brief exchange with Singer? “It felt like we were in a scene,” she quipped.
Following her appearance, Radziwill shared a clip of the moment on Instagram, captioning it: “The #RHONY Reunion you were waiting for….yes, that’s me. The mystery guest on WWHL.”
She praised Cohen, calling him “incredible and fun and gracious with a smile ear to ear,” and admitted that even though she’s “famously NOT A HUGGER,” their embrace was “the best part.”
In her post, Radziwill made it clear she has no plans to return to the franchise or its reunions full-time. “That’s all folks… no other reunions or appearances,” she wrote. “But this one was worth all my nervousness & butterflies.”
Inside Carole Radziwill and Andy Cohen’s Years-Long Feud
Radziwill’s return to Bravo marks a major shift in her relationship with Cohen, which had been rocky since she exited “RHONY” after season 10. The two clashed during the reunion special in 2018, where Radziwill accused Cohen of siding with Bethenny Frankel during their friendship fallout.
Things got worse earlier this year when Radziwill took to X (formerly Twitter) to blast Cohen after he alleged she was the anonymous source quoted in a New York Magazine article criticizing him and the Housewives franchise.
“Someone can make a truthful observation & there’s always one short-ish dude waiting to be offended,” she tweeted at the time. “They’re all so vindictive which I believe is the point of the quote & confirmed by Andy’s nasty response.”
She didn’t stop there — calling Cohen “condescending,” “absurd,” and saying he owed her an apology.
Meanwhile, Cohen had doubled down on SiriusXM’s “Radio Andy,” telling co-host John Hill, “It’s Carole Radziwill, no question… There are 18 reasons why it’s Carole.”
He also called it “so weird” that she would speak anonymously, noting, “Carole has said a lot of unkind things about me publicly… I didn’t understand why she went off the record here.”
The anonymous quote in the New York Magazine piece criticized the direction of “RHONY” and Cohen’s infamous baby shower, saying, “Everyone just dances for Andy Cohen.”
