Chef Anthony Iracane has one heck of a story to tell. He was fired from “Below Deck” in Season 11, only to make a whiplash return just in time for Season 12. He appeared on the June 16, 2025, episode of “Watch What Happens Live” and shocked Andy Cohen when he shared all that he had been through.
The chef said, “I wouldn’t show a lot of emotion. Everybody knows what happened. I [got] divorced. My ex-wife left me for my uncle, so that’s kind of a crazy thing. My dad passed. I went through a lot.”
Andy Cohen Was Stunned by Chef Anthony’s Admission

Bravo fans already know that it takes an awful lot to catch Andy Cohen off guard, and yet he was stunned by Iracane’s honesty. Cohen cut him off and quickly chimed in, “Hold on, please … Your ex-wife left you for your uncle?”
Iracane confirmed that it was indeed the truth, explaining that it happened six months before he joined Season 11 of “Below Deck.” Chef Anthony shared that his ex-wife and his uncle began their relationship when she was working as a chief stew on a boat he was captaining.
Andy Cohen asked if they are still together, and Iracane replied, “Yeah. They want to make a family. So it’s kind of cool. It’s like, who am I? Am I their uncle now?”
The chef’s uncle has never apologized for stealing his wife, and Iracane says that they no longer have any kind of contact.
Chef Anthony Understands Why He Was Fired From Season 11 of ‘Below Deck’
Now that the dust has settled, Iracane told Andy, on “Watch What Happens Live,” that he understands why he was fired 12 episodes into Season 11 of “Below Deck.”
“I jumped on ‘Below Deck’ with all of this in my mind,” he said, admitting that he certainly wasn’t at his best then. Iracane was ultimately let go due to his poor attention to detail and mediocre food quality.
“I think you’re an incredible chef. Your food is absolutely amazing. But, you’re starting to kind of nosedive,” Captain Kerry Titheradge told him at the time, according to BravoTV. “This is not the right environment for you, mate. You’re not flourishing here. If I keep you here any longer, I’m going to set you up for disaster. I’m doing you a favor.”
