Amanda Batula Has Two Big Moves Coming to Fans

Amanda Batula’s swimwear line is a success!

She launched Amanda Batula Swim in February, and Bravo host Andy Cohen along with the “Summer House” star, gave an update on how things are going during the March 19 episode of “Watch What Happens Live.”

“They are already sold out,” Cohen revealed. “The first drop sold out. And the second drop comes out when?”

“I think it’s the beginning of May, and then I’ll have one more drop after that,” Batula answered.

Amanda Batula Admits That Pursuing Her Passions Played a Factor in Her Improved Mental Health

Bataula has been very open about her struggles with mental health, and she revealed that this new business venture played a part in helping her get better.

“Yes and No,” Batula said when Cohen asked her if this played a part. “I don’t think I would have had the capacity to pursue my own thing if I didn’t get out of that dark hole. And I think it’s kind of like one thing has helped the other. So getting out of that dark hole and then doing my own thing has helped my depression.

“They’ve both helped each other,” she continued. “It’s not one thing that helped me.”

Ciara Miller and Paige DeSorbo Pushed Amanda Batula To Go Forward With Her Idea

During Season 8 of “Summer House,” Batula expressed to Ciara Miller and Paige DeSorbo that she was interested in starting and designing a bathing suit line. She received a lot of support from Miller and DeSorbo who gave her a blunt, but honest assessment in one scene.

In it, Batula was shopping with DeSorbo and Miller at Old Navy, when Miller spoke up and asked, “Do you think you have an identity outside of Kyle and Loverboy? Because I don’t.”

“I wish you saw yourself the way I picture you in my head,” DeSorbo chimed in.

It was clear that the support from her friends also played a big factor in the start of this bathing suit line. And based on the way they flew off the shelves immediately, they were right to push her to go forward with it.

“It was eye-opening. I was like okay, I’m not believing in myself enough, and I’m being really hard on myself for no reason,” Batula said on the Conversations with Cam Podcast in response to this scene. “It made me emotional. I feel so grateful to have, especially those two girls, as friends in my life. They’re literally like, I look up to them with their drive.”
