Kyle Richards Gives Update on Daughter Alexia’s Wedding Plans

Kyle Richards dropped some early details about her daughter Alexia Umansky’s upcoming wedding to Jake Zingerman.

“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star answered fan questions during an Amazon Livestream on January 7, and she revealed what she knows about the wedding so far. “Well, there’s no planning yet – a little bit – but we have a date,” Richards shared. “We have a date. It’s September 6th.”

“I asked her if I could say that,” she added of the bride-to-be. “I said, “Am I allowed if anyone asks me?’”

In a December 2024 interview with Parade, Richards shared that she had been thinking about wedding venues for her daughter in either Los Angeles or Aspen, Colorado.

Later in the livestream, Richards confirmed the wedding location would be in Aspen, where the family owns a vacation home. She also dodged a question about potential grandbabies. “I think I need her to answer that,” Richards said of her 28-year-old daughter.

Kyle Richards Helped With Her Daughter’s Engagement Day

Richards was involved in her daughter’s engagement day in a sweet way. She told Parade that Zingerman asked for her help before he proposed to The Agency real estate agent. “He asked my permission,” Richards told the outlet in a December 2024 interview.  “And then he had me help him through the process of picking the ring. And he was so cute, including me. I went with him to many different places to look, and it was just so sweet that he included me in that whole process.”

As seen in photos posted by BravoTV.com, the ring Richards helped pick out was an emerald-cut diamond rings engraved with the word “Sweetheart” and a small heart inside.

In November 2024, Richards reshared a series of Instagram photos that showed her daughter flashing her gorgeous diamond ring.  “She said Yes!” the mom of four daughters captioned the post. “So happy for you both!! Jake, you have always been a part of our family but now it’s official! We love you guys so much!!”

Kyle Richards Admitted She Was ‘Annoying’ When Her Daughter Farrah Was Engaged

This is not Richards’ first experience with a daughter’s engagement. Her eldest daughter Farrah, 36, was previously engaged to Alex Manos in 2021. At the time, Richards told Today that her whole family was  “beyond thrilled and happy” about the news.  Richards also admitted she had long been waiting to plan a wedding.

“I’ve been dreaming this day forever,” she said. “I can’t wait to take her to go register for her dishes and her glasses or stemware … all that stuff just sounds exciting to me. Picking the venue. I’ve already been asking, ‘Where do you want to do it? Do you want to do it at our home? Do want to go to a hotel? Destination wedding?'”

During an August 2022 episode of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: After Show,” Richards admitted she wanted to move fast. “My husband and I are so annoying,” she said at the time “Farrah just got engaged, but we’re already excited and want to get the ball rolling. It may be new to them, but I’ve already been planning this in my head and I need to get the party started here.”

In September 2023,  rumors surfaced that Farrah ended her engagement to Manos.  The couple’s split was addressed in the second season of the family’s Netflix reality show “Buying Beverly Hills.”
